Hey guys,
I'm not sure if I posted this in the right topic, but I wanted to get some info on how I should go about going direct with an advertiser.
I was banking with GDFF app instal in UK but my ads/accounts got banned. I got some new ones, submitted some ads but the EPC and conversion rate are half of what they used to be on my old accounts.
They really liked the leads I was generating and the only way I can profit is if I get a higher payout. I already got bumped to the max on my aff network but if I go direct then I will be able to get a higher payout which means a higher EPC.
Can someone help a brotha out?
I forgot to add another thing:
How do I take the right approach? What should I not say?
Yo man, run some decent volume and it usually helps if you've have a quality check
Google the advertiser, find their phone number. Give them a call, sound professional as you can, give them everything they want to hear
Planned revenue, planned growth, exact offers, payment terms etc

I ran plenty of volume for them. My aff manager said they really like my traffic and they set me at a higher cap than everyone else promoting the offer
I found an email: admin@xxxxxxx.com
i'm not sure if thats the right email. I should probably send another email huh ? This time including Planned revenue, Planned growth etc lol
I believe something happened or was going to happen regarding the paths on the facebook apps in the past month or so, this might also have something to do with your conversion rates dropping. Maybe someone else more familiar with the subject can confirm
I know someone who is also running the same offer as me. We have very similar adcopies and he has the same results as I had on my old accounts. Maybe I'm just going through the traffic that he went through and they are not interested in my ad since they have seen it before ?
Girls Date for Free? You can sign up direct with cupid: http://affiliates.cupid.com/
Damn, Thanks guys!
The payouts on the networks seem to be higher than the payouts that they are offering
Keep in mind that if you go direct with an advertiser, it's highly unlikely you'll be able to get paid anywhere near the frequency as if you're in an affiliate network. Where a network might give you weeklies or better, virtually no direct relationships are gonna pay you more frequently than net-30 at first, so you'll have to float up to two months' advertising costs.
Not an issue for some people, but definitely something you need to know going into it.
tried running through their direct system... for some reason I got 67 clicks and 0 conversions... I switched back to the network and my epc rose a little bit...
I'm going to leave it running for a while, Maybe its just going through the shit traffic that already saw the ad and will pick up later. I highly doubt it will pick up but i'm trying to stay positive.
Wish me luck guys, I'm bound to find something profitable...... Eventually
Just do $2k/week with Cupid PLC and you can get real quick payment. For the revenue I drove last week, I can receive my payment on this friday afternoon. Even faster than most networks.
try google around for a name, their details, email may pop up on linked in or facebook, somewhere.. whois.
skype/email/call one name and contact which will lead to another till you find whoever it is you need to speak to.
having said that, start small when working direct with the advertiser to make sure they pay you on time.
a scenario where one spends $5000 on a credit card bill to generate leads, and not get paid $10,000 on commissions is quite possible.
i've worked with local dating agencies in singapore and chasing for payments is a difficult thing.
cupid direct? just apply an account and shoot their support an email. Use what you have learned, in your email subject u say "Driving volume on xxxx. Urgent". They responded me within 24 hours.. But i dont know for recent changes.. i got mine quite some time..
Those Russian's are fun, enjoy!

I think he means levgeniy, their affiliate guy in Russia.
My first month split testing network vs. direct with cupid.
They loved it, and contacted me to "discuss terms of further cooperation".
I guess I'm trying to get an idea of what $ amount I should be asking for, above their standard Percent Program payouts?
How high can u go ???
And currently am only sending female traffic, ... if I start mixing in male leads too, presumably they're not going to be loving me quite so much, right?
Comments appreciated...
Do you mean $ on a per lead basis? If so, what age bracket of leads are you sending? Say it's 40+, take a look around on sites like OfferVault for the network offering the best payout on that bracket of traffic with Cupid. Then add another 20% or so to take in to consideration their own margin (could be more, could be less).
Then assuming that your traffic is really backing out for them, add an additional 10% on the basis that you're one of the top performers, whereas a network is likely to average out the bad affs with the good. Take that as your ballpark figure and pitch the network.
"I will deliver only 40+ female leads, premium quality for X.XX"
If you feel like you're stretching the payout to the limit, give them a contrasting lower bid. Maybe only 30+ female leads but for a couple less dollars. You'll soon be able to tell whether their priority is quality traffic or rapid growth by which option they choose. And if they decide to haggle, which they probably will, at least you have some margin to play with.
As for Cupid disliking male traffic, I've never had problems there. If it's quality traffic, they'll take it. But I would suggest that you pitch them with the traffic they've already said they love.
The only limit to how much money you can demand is how much money you can justify with good ads. There's no sense in lowballing your own traffic though. Start high and take it from there.
@Finch - Great, thanks for the info.
yah, ... he kept on and on and on and on about my bloody traffic source(s).
We pay less for traffic type x, over traffic type z. Really..?!?!?!?
I refused to tell him, and just said if it was really a problem, then I'd just move my traffic somewhere else.
Magically, ..... it didn't seem to be a problem anymore. Go figure...
