Alright STM'ers, 6 hours ago Maynzie had an accident!
I was at the skatepark with Jax and a few others, I stepped off the board on a concave surface and hyper extended my leg and instantly new something was wrong, and the pain was insane. Spent 50 minutes in ER with my leg clearly fucked with no attention and unbearable pain lol, then 5 hours for the doctors to figure out what was wrong.
Turns out after X-rays and CT scans that I fracture my tibia and tore ligaments, and you know what I am super lucky because if the fracture was 1mm bigger then I would have to have surgery with steel rods and a huge insane scar.
Been loaded with oxycotin and the pain is beginning to kick in so I am not looking forward to tomorrow or the next few weeks, definitely not how I thought I would spend my wednesday night.
Anyway, I always like to make a positive from a situation so I have decided to take on a few lucky STM'ers and coach them 1 on 1 while I sit here bored as fk at home!
And yes STM'ers I did you proud and held faith to my avatar, the surgeon and doctors said they have never seen someone smile so much with such an intense pain injury!

Want the positions?
Tell me why you deserve them
and I won't announce who gets the spot, you guys will have to keep it sworn secrecy!
(L) you all!
Maynzie, I hope you get well soon and am glad to hear that you won't need surgery. I have a plate and six screws in my arm from a skating accident
.
You have already provided me with a ton of great advice in my follow along and I really appreciate it. I would love to be one of the "chosen ones" who receive coaching from you. You are already familiar with my POF follow along and my struggle to get profitable.
I used to cloak a lot of stuff on FB but am trying to go "legit"
. I've had a bit of success and had my first (and only) $100 profit day back in Feb. I think I have the potential to become a successful affiliate and eventually make the move to full time AM like Jax did recently. I will keep at this and become successful no matter what but I think I could get there a lot faster with someone like you helping me along the way.
Hope you get better and get back on that board
-Aaron
Hell yea! Sorry to hear about your spill dude, have had plenty myself, once spent 3 months of a 6 month snowboarding trip out injured (6 ribs, broken arm, vertebrae), was hell, especially during powder days.. but as you say, every cloud and all that..
Would love to be considered man, am totally committed to this, but trying to figure out everything yourself is super tough sometimes.. Do I deserve it? Maybe, maybe not, but there's a 9 week old girl here who defo does, and everything I do is now for her.. let me tell you, I never worked so hard!!
Let me know what I can do for you in return man, and get well soon.
Peace
damn son.
) It's a real responsibility to have someone who absolutely depends on you for everything. It makes you work very hard because you can't help but want to give them everything you can.
Well done on making it three! I thought one was a handful!
Good Luck on your recovery my genius.
I've been on hella grind mode this week creating lp's and testing out new verticals that i was too afraid to touch on before. I really just want to learn from someone that's actually doing what i want to do and mimic everything. POF has been a big challenge, i spent a high $xx,xxx in the past years, no profit consistently and im still not giving up. Maybe this right here is the braking point were i get the help i need to get something going. One big motivation for me was the 2 "success stories" post the big homie JAX made on braking the $100 mark and quitting his job to do this full time. There's nothing in life that i want more right now but to be a full time affiliate. Im up at 5 am checking stats, then gym, 7-8:30 breakfast and setting camps, 9 to5 job and 6 to 11 marketing. True hustla!
Get better soon
Amazing thread! Bummer about your accident.
I need help getting things in perspective. I'm getting into paid advertising and feel like I'm missing certain little things when it comes to tracking as well as crunching numbers so my data makes sense. I had a pretty alright campaign running on POF for a week but the leads weren't good enough and it got shut down. I'd like to avoid this in the future and make the most out of every camp.
Paid advertising is fun as hell and I'd love to keep doing it, documenting what I've done and being able to say that I've dominated it.
A little coaching would go a long way
Nasty thing to happen, but sounds like you were pretty lucky it wasn't much worse. Tell me this wasn't from that bumped Brandon Westgate video Stackman posted?
The coaching sounds like a rare opportunity, but I'm putting out other fires at the moment and I'm sure others would be more able to take more advantage of it than myself right now.
Atleast your arms still work so you can make $$$ LOL
"the surgeon and doctors said they have never seen someone smile so much with such an intense pain injury!"
Love This ^^
Power to you!
hey maynzie.......get well soon buddy. I still recall the day when i had the same stuff and it was unbearable.....i was kid then it was worst that could ever happen.
i'll be into this forum for 6 months and still looking for consistency. i ave lost much but not faith in this forum and all you guys who have worked selflessly for other people. i know there is light out there but something is amiss that is making whole things go round. Maybe your training can fill the gap. maybe the most deserving gets the opportunity to get training from you.....but one advice....why dont take a skype session as that it would help many to be in (only if your present situation allows)
Oh man , it really sucks! I know how it feels.
I broke my leg 2 months ago and like you had to stay home for nearly 30 days without moving.
Got really bored , but on the bright side I launched so many campaigns and revenue wise was on of my best months ever.
Maynzie, first off, I truly hope your recovery period is short, sweet and relatively pain free. It appears that you done enough suffering just waiting for a diagnosis.
I know I haven't done anything for you personally to deserve one of the positions but I can promise you that I will make you proud that you did. I have all of the tools in place. I'm struggling with how to get my CTR up and my CR. To learn this, I have been doing FB traffic only because everyone I have talked with has stated that if you can break through in FB, you have it made.
I have read hundreds of posts on the subjects involved. I've been doing camps since March 1st. Recently had my first profitable day but nothing to brag about. I just need some assistance and coaching to help me connect the dots on picking decent campaigns, CTR and CR. Even though your avatar is a huge smile, won't mind the "constructive criticism" along the way. I am very good at making something extraordinary once I get a solid grasp of the basics, which has eluded me so far. But I want to make this work because I feel AM is a great fit to my skill set.
I have two boys (12 and 2) who look up to their Daddy and think he does no wrong. We know better. Working on this now so I can make certain their opinion never changes. AM has the potential to let me cut loose with my creative side and secure my family's future.
Whatever you need me to do, name it and it is done. I would appreciate the assist more than you know. But I will also do whatever you ask to broadcast your efforts and our shared success. I hate that you had to get seriously hurt for this opportunity to come up but if your are offering, I would LOVE to get the coaching!!!
P.S. I will be at Affiliate Summit West. If you are there, I could definitely treat for a night out. Would be the least I could do for the assist because I know with your help, by then, I will definitely be "stacking that money" in LARGE STACKS!
I stick with Tennis. The surface it flat. Less injuries.
A big part of your success is your attitude about things. That is a big lesson there.
It is a great to offer coaching. I can make money online but I suck as teaching it as some of my friends will tell you, LOL.
I find POF pretty easy to make money on but can be a lot of work to maintain so I don't do it much anymore so hopefully someone here will get lucky and get some coaching form you. Your posts are right on for POF.
And you can have long term ads on POF. I have a few ads that I have ran since last July and done over 200 million impressions and they are still profitable.
So it is possible to have successful long term camps on POF. Good luck to those who get the coaching, sounds like a great offer.
Rob
Sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you get to feeling better soon.
The 1 on 1 coaching is an amazing opportunity! I would love to be considered for this position. I'm new to affiliate marketing – only been at it for about 3 months. I've had a couple break-even campaigns but nothing profitable yet. I feel like I am getting a good grasp of the tools and tracking and just have to keep getting back up and creating more campaigns. I'm committed to learning and applying any advice or suggestions. I'm not set in my ways so I'll be easy to teach
. I don’t know if I deserve it more than others but if I'm chosen, I will definitely not waste your time.
Thanks for this opportunity.
Sorry to hear about that maynzie. Being a forum member here, I sincerely hope that you can recover asap, and it's really a blessing in disguise that you need not go for operation.
and I tell you what...?
I like your positive attitude towards incidents like this! Life goes on anyway no matter what!
Keep on rocking and banking dude!
Maynzie is bawse.
I'd love the coaching. Hell, living in the UK, it'd just be nice to talk to someone who sees more than 2 days of sunshine each year.
I don't have a sob story to call on, and I'm not gonna use "my child and 4 wives to feed" as a plea. It'd just be cool to learn from a high volume affiliate.
Mind you, I am a little worried about my pet parrot. He keeps saying "I hate my life" and "I can't go on". Of course, my wife is too selfish to notice. She's always crying when I get home.
I wish you well on your recovery. Photos of any cute nurses must be posted...
Love you man for being so generous. I hope you get well soon.
I am a man with few words but I am sure I will do good justice to 1-on-1 training if given a chance. I am strong technically but not good in marketing yet and would love to learn that aspect of business.
I don't know what to say because I don't know how to sell myself. Guess that's good enough reason huh..
That said, I'm a good listener, do-er. You tell me, I just do.
Right now I'm just taking each day as it comes. No real strategic plans, which is my biggest problem.
And of course, here's wishing you a speedy recovery! Take good care.
Get well Maynzie... I barely recognized you from when I met you at the Melbourne meetup
Hey Maynzie,
Sorry to hear about the leg man - been through my share of knee problems from sports and have spent weeks at a time stuck on a couch unable to move. Good on you for turning your negative situation into something positive for the rest of the gang here.
It has been pretty inspiring seeing your success over the months (originally started seeing threads back on PPV Playbook, and then here at STM). I have had small successes here and there over the past while through various traffic sources, but nothing stable. Granted, I have been pretty complacent as I have been lucky enough to have some 'hands off' recurring income from a business deal I established a little while back. That ended a couple months back and I have had every intention to make up for that, but it has been hard without any contacts involved in the industry.
What do I bring to the table? Strong analytical skills. Data/numbers are my passion, and also what I do at my day job, working as an analyst with a large online sportsbook/casino. I can make sense of data gathered through tests, and understand optimization. Photoshop is definitely my weakness, as I have never toyed around with it. I can hold my own when it comes to building things using Dreamweaver, but that is about as far as I have gone with web pages. Also; I have CPVLab/domains in my possession, so I have the necessary tools to collect data.
I would definitely appreciate a shot at learning from a pro, and sharing what I learn through you with the rest of the forum with my very own Follow-Along thread charting my progress as I learn from the champ!

Picture says all about you
What can I say? I'm very interested in coaching. We already talked before on AIM, it was about 6 months ago. I'm full time affiliate since January 2011. Not successful yet (sound weird huh?). At the beginning I was only using PPV traffic, after some time I moved to POF and Facebook. At this moment I'm 100% focused on POF and I said to myself that I won't move out until I will be achieving stable profits. One week is good, another is bad. The thing that I need most at this moment is stability and probably one person with more experience who can help me with some things. I don't need motivation, I'm committed as hell, spending 10+ hours every day on this stuff. I don't want to left this, I want to succeed. I loved the Will Smith interviews that you posted some time ago.
Get well soon!
Get well man!
feel better dude!
Injured and helping others instead of complaining? You are awesome. Get well soon!
Hey man, bummer to see you out of commish, but your not letting circumstances effect your state of well-being, and that's all that matters.
I would definitely be excited to get some one on one coaching if you have the time. I've made progress already thanks to many of your posts, so it would be great to take that help to another level. When I expressed how frustrated I was with my POF campaigns in dopple's thread, you did say you had my back, so I guess you kinda have to take me on
j/k
But yeah, if you can squeeze me in that'd be great. I really don't think I have much further to go, so I could be any easy success story for ya. I'd also love to be able to pay it forward and help others get successful. Either way I'm starting that pof follow along thread today and getting down to biz.
Get Well Soon!
Oh man! Skate and AM, that's the life.
Are there any free apartments near where you guys live?
Hope you get better soon Maynzie,
Also congrats on the mentoring efforts with Jax so far, looks like you're well on your way to creating another big fish in the affiliate world....
I would love to get mentored by you, as I can fully appreciate that it would make the journey so much easier to consistent profits....I have had some success ie a $100 dollar day but nothing consistent yet...which I'm planning to change with PPV campaigns that I'm soon to launch..
BUT.....I think you should pick me to mentor, because I would pledge to mentor at least 2 other members to reaching their first $100 / day, once I got to consistent profits myself....In this sense, you could get an exponential bang for your buck, because your mentoring one person, and then I'll mentor 2 other people to their 1st $100 day....
PICK moi Maynzie :-)
damn dude... sux on the surgery.... get well soon
damn dude, hope the rest of the recovery goes smoothly. sounds like the worst is behind ya by far.
Nice man you got the surgery done! Good thing you didnt fuck your hand up lol. Now its time to make stacks while you chill in the bed. Maynzie whats ur Skype?
Too bad you ended up having surgery, it sucks. They put a plate and screws in my arm and pins in my wrist. The worst part was that they did a bone graft on my hip because they needed extra bone to put in my arm. My hip hurt worse than my arm, lol! Then there was 6 months of physical therapy.
Wishing you lot's of hot nurses and therapists
Take it easy and get better!
I'm looking forward to the lotto, it's a fair way to do it. But, I really hope my number gets picked
Get well fellow Stacker! Hope you get a nice nurse to take care of you! Always inspiring and motivational to see and read your success on the forum! Get my creative juices flowing, but unfortunately not enough on my success on my own. However, I know there is stacks waiting for all of us at the end as long as we keep at it, and not to give up! Thanks maynziex, hope to part of your sworn secrecy! =)
"Sir, i want to make money on the internets. Sir, can you teach me? I'll name my fourth child after you, Sir!"
Get well bro! See you in NYC!
Haha I'm late on this but glad you're fine bro, take care!!

Jees....lucky escape, now listen to your uncle Paul, stay in doors, switch the computer on and make some doe, forget about those damn skateboards for a while
P.S. Where were your kneepads, left them at home again?
Hope you get better soon man.. and thanks for the advice on skype
I'm glad I never took up skateboarding. Wishing you a speedy recovery...
Having a positive attitude always helps, life is too short to be mad. It's disappointing when people get mad for no reason, glad everything worked out for you!
new thread is here, if you want to get in on the draw for the coaching session:
