Hello,
Does anybody here use prosper with adsimilis network ?
I have two problems:
1) on some campaigns it doesn't pass subid to adsimilis, on some it does
2) adsimilis doesn't return conversion to prosper. AM confirmed that global tracking pixel was set and I also entered manually postback URL on each offer in this format:
http://mydomain.com/tracking202/static/gpb.php?amount=&cid=107&subid={aff_sub}
But I still doesn't see conversions in prosper. Only when I enter subids manually I can see it.
May anybody take a look at my settings ?
1) ? do you have this setting in your p202 camps (p202 step #3): &aff_sub=[[subid]]
2) is correct.... .it should work if step 1 is correctly set... get rid of amount= if you are not using it... otherwise set it like that, amount={payout}
&cid=107
weird, I dont set the camp ID my postback url, only the subid is enough I think. so you may have conflict here.... postback trying to find an ID for the wrong campaign... Anyway you have a problem before that... if no subid is pass... is it LP or DL causing problem ? are you grabing the links from the right place (p202 step #7)?
&cid=107 was not real number,
real numbers are 14,15,16,17 and 18
those I really use on your network
I'm promoting planet49
yeah I mean I dont set &cid at all on my postback and its working fine.... subids are unique in prosper
So, you just submit posback in this format:
http://domain.com/tracking202/static/gpb.php?&subid={aff_sub}
I was selecting campaign on "#8 Get Postback/Pixel" in prosper...so it gave me different CID (campaign ID) for each campaign.
Yes , as ackbar said , remove the "cid=107&" at all from the url and give it a go again.
Just to confirm:
postback URL doesn't need to be secure (httpS), that is case only for pixel ?
I should just enter this on each offer page:
http://domain.com/tracking202/static/gpb.php?&subid={aff_sub}
Yes , non secured is ok.
And the syntax you posted is correct . Should work fine.
Here is my issue:

Subid is not passed each time. You can see that on the same offer on some loads it pass it on some not.
I thought it's maybe problem with browsers, but it's not..
Adsimilis couldn't help me with this.
Is this usual with prosper ?
Yep it happens with prosper but it's generally very very low.
Prosper uses cookies to store the subid , so basically users with cookies disabled wont' be "tracked"
Maybe you are advertising to people that are very untechy?
I'm using leadimpact, so I guess that any person that install that kind of toolbar is untechy.
But I think that dose users would leave default settings in their browsers/comptuers...and cookies are enabled by default.
I understand that it works with cookies, but to have almost 50% of empty subids is very strange.
