Adwords Banner Sizes

Hey guys,

I'm designing creatives for Adwords and know they have 8 different ad sizes. Is there a reason to prefer one over another? Different distribution?

728x90
468x60
200x200
120x600
160x600
250x250
300x250
336x280

Basically trying to find out if it's worth my time to design for all 8 sizes or to focus on a 3 or 4.

Thanks!

300
160

start with that

every banner size you make just increases your testing cost

can always add more in later once you get it rocking

^^^ good choice, i'm not doing adwords anymore but this is the order i start too when buying banners on other sites. also i never buy 468x60, but in adwords it might work, at least for text ads

I always start with 300x250 (sometimes a 728 leaderboard too), seems to get the best response for me. Although, I'm a firm believer in testing every size, sometimes it doesn't make sense in the testing budget.
