I am running a Pay per Call campaign that shows real potential. I have it set up on Bing in 4 different campaigns, but only 3 are live.
1 for Bing and Yahoo only
1 for Bing and Yahoo Search Partners only
1 only for Smart Phones and mobile devices (Bing, Yahoo and Partners) AND....
1 For WAP Phones - this one is not live.
My network uses RingRevenue for tracking Pay per Call. They have a great system for tracking clicks, calls and conversions back to the Keyword (not just the traffic source), However, to get this level of tracking, I need to use their "advanced links-Ring Pools". This is how it works......
Someone clicks my ad and a phone number is dynamically assigned on the fly and matched to the keyword, and passed to the network. The connection between the 800 number, the keyword and my subid happens on the fly, when my ad is clicked.
Now the problem.... WAP ads require you to "Hard Code" the phone number in the ad, which means I can't use the "ring pool" featue. I could use the "promo numbers" option, but this will only allow me to track to the "source" level and NOT the keyword level.
Anyone know a work around for this???
as far as i know, for wap, your only choice is to get more promo numbers and use those to track individually.
