No one? :/
@first lander: Who are you targeting, males or females? Whatever your answer is, get rid of the other gender. And you probably want to think of a unique angle as well.
@ 2nd lander: Too much text I'd say, put that cupid logo etc. at the bottom, remove the text below the images and put a catchy headline above them. Just check out other case studies in here to get a feel for how landers should look.
Apart from that I fear I won't be able to give you any other tips so someone more experienced should chime in.
Well for starters what is the CTA?
on either one?
You really have given me no reason to click....
and the Vs.?
The page really doesn't make sense.....Vs is a great Idea.....use that to get them to click change your headline to something like "Rate me" or "hot or not" at the top for the headline.....then for the CTA....do like "Vote here and meet me" Or "Vote and Chat" have some kinda online green thing flashing......also you could add a countdown clock to the top and some kinda score......
also you could stay with the voters thing.....and under the photo.....do a breif little profile blurb...list her info and list her phone number BUT not the whole number so it would read like this
"Phone (dynamically inserted area code)-435-**available to active voters only**"
and really cut down on the txt.....
I agree with polarbacon, the landers don't really make sense. They don't do any pre-selling at all.
Try to think in the mind of a visitor, by default they are thinking to themselves "Why should I click this page, is there in benefit for me? How is this different to other dating sites?"
This goes for any lander you make. Think about the user, think about your point of difference.
Off the bat you would do yourself a favor by dropping the cupid banner at the top, and make your own call to action button at the bottom.
Yeah, remove the top banner and add two CTA buttons beneath each pic that says date me or date {username}.
Very helpful advise guys, thanks.
Will make some new LPs in the next few days, maybe post them here first, and we'll see how it goes.
