My goal to be accomplished by June 23rd 2012 (5)
My goal:
Generate $5000 or greater profit in my business by June 23rd 2012.
I read/heard somewhere that successful people write down their goals and share them with other people. I've started writing them down but I have been pretty reluctant to share them with people in the past. I think part of it has to do with an irrational fear of being judged by people if I don't reach my goal.
When my coworkers found out I bought courses on real estate investing and internet marketing I got ribbed a lot. As a result, I stopped telling people about my goals.
Fuck it. That was then, this is now. Time to move forward.
I just wanted to share with you guys my goals. Feel free to bitch slap me over the internet if you see me doing things or talking about doing things that's not congruent with goals.
***Below is just me typing aloud for myself for future reference***
Where I'm at now:
-bleeding money with POF. This is still a huge improvement over just spending money buying courses and not taking any action.
Things I need to improve on:
-taking action daily.
-taking action looks likes culling ads, designing and submitting new ads and landing pages(or outsourcing them.) Every time I outsource something I'm absolutely thrilled to get something done faster and a lot better than I could've done it myself. However, I need to balance this with my current budget limitations.
Other Random Stuff I'm working to improve:
This kind of relates to affiliate marketing in a round about way. For the longest time I have felt that I haven't been getting good sleep. Today, I spoke with a lady about ways to improve my sleep at night. I came away with several action steps to work on over the next two weeks. Some things I can remember off the top of my head are(some of these are pretty obvious):
- go to sleep and wake up the same time each night
- use the bedroom for sleeping and sexual activity only
- don't hit the snooze button in the morning, instead set the alarm for the absolute time I need to wake up. Position it to where I have to get out of bed to turn it off
- break a sweat in exercise for at least 30 minutes at least 3 times a week
- don't drink any pop past 3pm. Limit pop to two cups each day.
- spend 30-60 minutes outside each day in the sun
- understand that I don't need 8 hours of sleep a day. Most adults only need 6-7.
- spend an hour before bed winding down to go to sleep. Stay away from bright lights and computer monitors
- that's about all I can remember right now
some of them are pretty obvious, but I haven't been doing them. Well I think that's all I'm going to type for this post. Time to go eat dinner.

You've made the very first step by making a thread like this. Goal setting is really essential and most of the time it serves as a direction for people to achieve their success.
My advise to you:
- further break down your goal to; make xxx/week and make xx/day. Let's say you have 60 days from now, you can divide 5000 by 60 to give yourself an estimated profit you should be making in order to hit your goal.
- never quit when you fail, just keep on building campaigns, optimize them, do it and do it and do it and you'll see your success days!
