landing page question.... need your feedback.

working on opt in/squeeze pages for my online dating offer...

seems like so many people have jacked my squeeze page, the #'s have gone down a bit lately.... (found 3 people today who jacked my shit.... and the retards forgot to remove the footer - duh!)

working on some new pages.... the current test isn't doing so hot.... I'm testing an animated gif showing proof of results screenshots.... but it's kinda bombing right now vs the control.

anyone have any ideas.... trying to think outside the box and outside my normal ideas....

goal on this page is to get someone to enter their email address to watch a video...

appreciate any feedback or ideas....

you can try a javascript video fakeout.

basically, put a screenshot (or kickass thumbnail) with the play button as the main bait of the page

then when they click on the page (THINKING the video will play), a javascript will popup with a message saying "you will enjoy this content, just put in your email and you will get instant access"

here is the basic format of a page i used before to start your brainstorming:

some people have reported the split test between with and without the video fake out to be as much as 48% difference.

pretty cool.

i have the code as well, but will have to dig it up if you are interested

Here's a link to an example squeeze page I got in my email awhile back from Ryan Deiss:

http://www.digitalmarketer.com/acces...-squeeze-page/

He's says its the "ultimate, unbeatable squeeze page that will work across any niche"

harrypotter - ya haven't tested that out in a while.... but my short squeeze page did much better... guess less is more.... once we moved to clickbank, all these affiliates seem to be sending somewhat bad traffic.... optin #'s dropped. but will test the fake video and js pop.

luscioust - thanks for the heads up.... i'll check it out and rework it into a page... and test it.

i did test his other 'unbeatable' one ... with the talking cartoon head.... and mine destroyed it.

How do you instantly know when someone is ripping of your shit?

04-05-2012 01:36 AM #10 dconstrukt (Member)

cuz i see the pages... when the design is exactly like mine... with the same graphics... thats the first sign. sign #2 is the way i code... i name shit certain ways.... so if I see it in the code I know they ripped it.

the last few were dumbasses.... i just did a copyscape search for the page.... their sites came up cuz the morons left my footer intact.... so when you see a page that looks identical to yours... has the same code with the same names you name shit.... then has your exact footer there...

does it get more obvious?

Of course that is obvious, I meant how do you find out? Do you get alerted, or do you randomly come across this when using spy tools, clicking other peoples ads, etc? other than copyscape

clicking on ads... copyscape... etc.

let frank (kern) use it for one of his launches and next thing you know, the fucking thing is everywhere....
