LI Bidding Strat or Coincidence?
Ive been finding URLs on LI lately with bids like this:

Is this just a lot of people bidding on the same url, or is it one person creating multiple camps or accounts and getting more traffic that way?

It can be both but from the bids is possible same guy is duplicating the campaign to get more traffic.

wow thats nuts I never saw that much competition on a single keyword, but I think besmir hit the nail on the coffin here, if it was lots of people they wouldn't all be bidding 0.017

Interesting strategy! A bit awkward when I come along and bid 0.018. I can't see it working well for them.
That is a tiny bid anyway. On LI you can set your bid to auto. You have to start at 0.03 but if you have a winner then it is easily worth it.
BTW why are you bidding 0.017 on all your targets in that campaign?

Well that's the thing. Why go through the trouble of creating 20+camps or accts? Maybe he knows what he's doing cause ive seen other keywords with 3 or 4 higher bidders, but another 20+ mins.

That's the min bid for the category/country.

I've never tested it but I'd be amazed if you could game their algo that way!
