Maxbounty 1 Pixel Limit? (17)

Maxbounty 1 Pixel Limit?

I want to use both my Prosper 202 and Plenty Of Fish conversion pixel to track conversions with my Maxbounty campaign but I can only use one it turns out (where on other networks I've successfully used both). Does anyone know a way I can get around this or have any feedback on which pixel I should I use? I want to know exactly which ad is converting but I also want to use the cross tabs feature in PoF.

if their system only allows one pixel you can most likely ask your rep to place both pixels on the offer for you. email them over and done.

I actually tried that and she just said the maximum was 1 pixel, which I thought was odd myself.

is she a new am? because im pretty sure most platforms will let you place more than one pixel on the backend. but they do have their own platform

Good question, not really sure. I think she may be. Should I try "going above her head" to support or something? lol

Here's a solution: http://prosper.tracking202.com/blog/...d-party-pixels

Our Universal Smart Pixel Feature will fire multiple pixels for you.

Just make sure to read the post and set it up correctly.

Had some problems to set up universal pixel...
You can use POFs pixel, to see all stuff in POF, and update converted subids in p202, to see stats there...

What kind of issues did you have with the setup?

Hm, so I followed the steps outlined in the instructions and didn't have trouble with it at all but I had 2 conversions come through since then but PoF isn't showing anything yet. Not quite sure what could be missing here.

:/ anyone have any idea on what else I can try to get this working? Should I try selecting the "callback" option instead of "image" ? Would that be necessary? Not sure how to trouble shoot this since I followed the directions to a T

I even tried taking the iframe based pixel from PoF, selecting "iframe" in p202 and trying that--but it's not firing the PoF pixel no matter what.

Yeah you can have "1 pixel" but what is a pixel? A pixel is code so you can just make a single pixel with all the code for all the pixels.

This is true.. You can host your own page, place your pixels within that page to load, and then just place the page you created as your pixel.

i.e. you host it at http://something.com/mypixel.php

mypixel.php contains code to load images/scripts that you wish to fire off at the same time.

http://something.com/mypixel.php is what you place as your "pixel".

lol right guys, that's what pixels are. The problem I'm having is that prosper 202 isn't triggering the PoF pixel for some reason, no idea why though.

I place my PoF pixel with the network, not within prosper.
