Media Buying in Mobile Space

Anyone have some pointers to get started on media buying in the mobile space. I have gotten to the point were getting volume on JumpTap is difficult/not possible. CTR of 4% on certain campaigns.

Applied, but they are in a closed beta. Anyone got a connection there?

@nissangtr - Usually media buying is a progression for after getting campaigns profitable on networks. Have you been tracking referrers? Usually they will leak. I wouldn't recommend going out committing to media buys unless you know will profit for a certain CPM.

You also have to understand the make up of the traffic you are buying. It's not like web where just a certain type of person who visits a site will convert. Depending on the type of campaign you are running you need to make sure the carriers and handsets that are used are able to convert on your offer. For that reason I advise you not to go with a campaign that uses tight targeting.

Once again I would not recommend it unless you know approximately how your campaign will pan out before you buy in.
