Remember: Bots are your best friend... Still $1k+ a day is fucking legendary... and the fact his bots use 10GB a day of bandwith is... inspirational.

As the days came my earnings increased and increased and increased. First week of doing this I made around $2,000 which was Feb. 20-29. I stepped my game up and changed the way I was doing some things, and I saw a dramatic increase in my earnings. Went up to $500-800 a day. Kept at it and for the past two weeks I have made over $1,000 a day with the highest earnings being around $1,900.

I fully expect next week's earnings to be $2,000-2,500 a day. There are no guarantees in this business and it could all come crashing down soon. Not a matter of if, but when will it happen.
B a s t a r d !!!

Yup, $1k~ a day is more than enough to peak my interest

Step 1. Rape Amazon for top selling women stuff
Step 2. Load it into Bot Accounts
Step 3. Refresh your Amazon stats

This guy is an idiot. He has a screenshot of his affiliate ID from Amazon, and he admits that he is "spamming," which is explicitly against Amazon Associate's ToS.

So, he's "making" thousands a day, but Amazon's net-60 (unless they changed) payout terms are gonna bite him in the tail... he won't get paid any of it, I bet.

^^ *lol* I wondered the same...here is his Astore :-)

Is this guy direct linking or going through a lander of some sort?

a fool and his money are soon parted.....

Yeah, there is literally no way Amazon pays him. Even if he hadn't outed basically all of the information they need, Amazon are extremely strict about this sort of shit and they're known to shut down accounts for the tiniest of infractions, especially if they go from making nothing to 1k+/day overnight.

Wise words. There comes a time when you need to set your ego aside & decide that personal success is more important than recognition/admiration.

Of course it was all made up what kind of person that has the brains to put together an operation like this would out his own amazon ID. Seems Steve has been on the troll of his life.

What makes me mad is they don't hesistate to label him as a SCAMMER. WTF? Banks, insurance, oil companies and governments are the biggest scammers but they're legit, kid (supposedly) was posting links on Google (I mean, Pinterest) and making money at home working for Amazon!! Goddamit..

Agree 100%. If the folks in our industry would subscribe to this thought process I'd like affiliate marketing 10 times more than I do.

Except in certain cases where I think it's funny and fun to watch (like with Mr Eagle ), I find it painful to interact on an interpersonal level with almost everyone who's had success in this industry because the flashiness and egotism is so out of hand.

Spam and scam are two entirely different words with two entirely different definitions. No one called him a scammer, but he definitely is a spammer.

I wouldn't place too much faith in Amazon withholding payment. You'd be surprised what people get away with such as ridiculous traffic / earnings spikes. If he's smart then he's pushing that kind of earnings across multiple amazon assoc. accounts.

Maybe the guy 'Steve' doing the interview, was actually another affiliate (competitor) on Pinterest? Great way to f**k the competition over.

Bots for spying = smart. Bots for gaming = dumb.

When you send up a flare the authorities start to look.

Hanna, totally agree, but this link http://www.dailydot.com/news/pintere...x-controversy/ suggest he is a sCammer, that pissed me off. May be journalists still don't understand the difference?..

Doesn't surprise me at all that Pinterest has now increased their scrutiny to hinder bot performance. Dumbass, and yeah, I would love to see the article where he actually shows that he got paid from Amazon.

nothing amazes anymore the kid has the brains/ability to run this scam but then outs himself..wowza

Reminds me of my youth in this business

Spamming and bots is bumpy road but when they hit they can make you a fortune. There was a couple places I made 10k and 20k/day for 6 months or so. Back then that was amazing for me. But those things are usually short lived. You spend tons of time writing scripts and they constantly block you and you have to figure out ways around. Becomes a pain in the ass.

It's much easier, stable and scalable to learn to buy traffic if you ask me. But hindsight is always 20/20

04-20-2012 10:48 AM #26 tijn (Moderator)

^^ very true.

spamming is a short term game.

And anyone spamming pinterest with amazon links is onto a loozer anyway cause the payouts are so low (unless they cookie stuff).

I looked briefly at doing some mass posting to pinterest based on some very useful photo datafeeds that smaxor put me onto, and then linking through to some nice download/toolbar offers but decided against it due to ROI vs timeinvestment vs longevity.

Learn to buy traffic with +ve ROI in the ever green verticals is a much stabler business model.
