I remember that I have tried so hard to get a conversion from cafemom.com a year ago.
I have tested at least 20 to 30 offers and dozen landers but I couldn't make it work.
I am now testing with pinterest.com, so far I have tried around 15 offers and 4-5 landers.
I haven't been able to get even one lousy conversion.
I know the demo,
25 to 44 - 55%
Female - 80%
Some college - 60%
$25k to 75K - 69%
Does anyone have any success targeting this domain?
same here
i've unsuccessfully tried "gift cards" for fashion, grocery and restaurants
but got just a couple of "free iPad" email leads
idk about pinterist, but I know females 25+ love to play games. although I cant imagine them repining game screenshots..
pinterest + Draw Something. sounds like an ownage campaign to me. But that's them..
they convert for sure
a test i did a while back with amazon aff program showed this
these are very small numbers, but it was also a very small test

I posted more about it here

What i found is that you can take 2 approaches:
1) automated spamming
2) hyper target a niche and build a following
then with the right offers you can make some money.

Thanks for the input guys but I was talking about PPV.
I was poping offers and landers over the pinterest.com on TV and LI.
Ah ic. Sorry hadnt figured that out but its pretty obvious now.
My understand of the Pinterest demo is that its above average income and education.
Maybe therefore they wont fall for the normal email sub "Congrats your a winner".
You could try a "Pinterest User - Please participate to make pinterest even better" survey
Just to see if you can get them to respond.
If they do take action then its just a case of finding the right offer & creative.
I'm thinking find some of the most interesting things on pinterest (of all time).
Then base a coreg path off it..
for example:
How To Make Quadruple Bacon Pizza & Pulled Pork Pizza for under 3 calories!
Then make a badass landing page and follow with a coreg path
I did try survey style lander but I just couldn't get the ctr that I wanted(they just didn't want to click just like cafemom).
I really like stackman's idea about food coreg.
I may give another shot to this site.
Thanks.
