Hey stackers
So been here 3 months now and love the info here, it's really an amazing forum. But I am yet to take action (yeah I know, lame-O) and am finding it really difficult to motivate myself to get started. Analysis paralysis? Possibly, but it's like one day I'm well up for testing some offers, but then I'll get a fb account banned (they banned me for advertising be2 - wtf?) and think screw this.. then I read a success story and get all fired up again, then get my google account banned (for 2 ads, joke) and get psyched out again.
So was wondering if anyone here would be willing to do some personal coaching with me? I work much better that way, not feeling the whole isolation thing. Either that or it's time to stop being a pussy lol...

I mean, define the worst possible outcome for me right now, your biggest fear and make it the worst fear possible
I mean you could lose all your money be abducted by drug lords that you thought were offering good cash loans and they shoot you cold blood in the street, if that happened I'd say thats a 10 on the negative scale but I don't think that will happen.
You know I think worst comes to worst for you will be, if you are in a 9-5 right now, you will lose in AM and have to go back to the 9-5 to pay the bills, you are probably somewhat happy with your life right now with an honest perspective so I will put that as a 3-4 on the negative scale
But hey, if AM works for you its a clear 10 on the positive scale because you will have all this free time, access to unheard of money for very little input education, you will be the envy of your friends with the lifestyle you lead and boom, you will just be so much all rounded happy with your success!

You should just pick a traffic source and start a follow along or go through the 40 day guide. Then you will have access to a bunch of coaches and not rely on just any one person. Its better to do things and fail along the way then to keep preparing to prepare, if that makes any sense. This industry is way too dynamic for any one person to have all the answers anyways, part of AM is adapting to change and making the best possible decisions often with limited information.
Also, your mindset on how you approach things is vitally important to your own success. You will have to be able to take some lumps along the way, there will always be good days and bad days. If you throw in the towel after a minor set back like an account ban, then you're going to be in for a rough ride. Grow some thick skin and realize you are not a unique and special snowflake and that this type of shit happens to us all the time. Every time you encounter a challenge or have a setback, hustle harder. Find a way. Its what separates the wheat from the chaff in this industry.

Too many people in this business are in it for themselves.. but there are people that are trying to help (aka the contributors here) and will show you the ropes. Yeah you did the "first step" in posting here, but what's your next plan? did people hit you up about this? I started a FB mastermind a month or so ago and I still get hit up about it today! I had to start a fresh skype account and still have 100+ ppl on it because of, probably, that one thread!
point(s) I'm trying to make, are listed above. pick a source, try to find people in that group, get started! best way to learn anything man is with 2+ heads, FOCUSED towards a common goal!

OK, tasks for today:
Choose a new traffic source. Am not liking facebook or google due to the crazy approval process and lack of customer service so thinking PPV as I heard it's cheap to test? I hear ya when you say stick with one traffic source and don't let a ban stop you but I hate working with fb and google so gonna leave them alone for now. Anyone have any thoughts? Or possibly Adcenter or yahoo. Then again there's mobile too.. aaaarrrggghhhhh!!!
This is what happens when I get left alone, I end up reading far too much then lose focus by getting overwhelmed at all there is to learn.

i wouldn't recommend ppv to start with.. POF is probably the best traffic source for beginners because you have a lot of targeting options and you can get pretty much anything approved...and you can make use of the POF spy here in the forum which should give you some ideas of what is working

just read your post. maybe we can help each other. me, you and another friend could start buying traffic but splitting the expenses between all of us. that way we do not lose alot of money. we keep running ads until we find a winner and the run with it. i am doing this now with logbook loans. i hired a professional ppc expert to do adwords ads. just started monday. then we evaluate data. and ditch losers and run the winners. we just keep testing.

taking notes is great but taking ACTION is even more important.
so what's taking action? here is a good gauge:
if you are spending more money paying for tools/forums/products than you are spending on testing... you are NOT TAKING ACTION.
(i am guilty of both above, for many many months)
Lol Harry that describes me to a tee. Spent waaay too much on "guru" products and jumping from one thing to the next. Realised this is not how to make bank.
