friends, I am new to PPV and have a question - If you are not #1 bidder for a particular URL in PPV (i.e let's think 2nd or 3rd) then will you not get any traffic or will your landing page ever show up for that particular URL ?
If you get traffic in 2nd and 3rd position's for a particular URL in PPV then what percentage of traffic would that be (just in general) ..like in google #1 42% #2 12% #3 8.5% like that...
I am new to PPV(AM too) please don't mind if this is a dumb question
I can only speak for Lead Impact, but it just depends on the volume that url gets. If there is enough to go around you can get traffic in 5th place. As far as percentages I don't know what they are.
@miked3 - thanks for reply - but what is the criteria while assigning the traffic...because if I bid and I am in top position but no one converts ....but the guy behind me bids less than me and if he hits on good user they might convert ........ then is that like a lottery ? little confused here
You got me confused now too but im pretty sure you're over-thinking it. If you're the high bidder, youll get the most traffic. Don't worry about what your competitors CR is. You have no way to know that anyway.
