With tracking software like prosper you have to fill in a maximum CPC which i can never know precisely.
Let's say that i run a campaign on POF. I don't know what my CPC will be because i don't pay a fixed CPC. it varies per demo and per creative and if i test different bids is will fluctuate even more. Ofcourse i can just guess it but that doesn't give me accurate data.
Can someone explain me how this works? Am i missing the point here?
Well for an example like POF... using a tracker will let you know which ads are profitable, because POF only shows conversions at a campaign level, but it will show you impressions at an ad level, so you can see which ads are profitable over the long run... sure you have to do some math and it's a little more tedious but overall it will help.
