I have a CPVLab Landing Page Sequence Campaign with three (3) offers in rotation. I am currently only using one landing page and the 2nd landing page in the sequence is left blank.
my hrefs are set to trackingdomain.com/base2.php
I'm noticing that when a user clicks a link on my landing page CPVlab creates two clicks, one to one offer and one to another offer.
The 2nd offer does not actually get a click - and the network doesn't show the 2nd click. but CPVLab reports it... doubling the actual CTR for the landing page and screwing up my stats.
I'm curious if not having multiple landers in a Landing Page Sequence campaign is causing this? I plan on using another LP but for now just using the 1.
Has anyone run into this? If so please advise how you fixed it.
thanks,
p
I just checked my landing page sequence campaign and i don't use a 2nd sometimes and i don't have this issue. So i can confirm that you don't have to, maybe try check boxing inactive on the LPs. Or try changing your Offer IDs and make sure none are the same on any of your campaigns. I barely even understand the whole ID thing other than when you want to send someone directly to a certain offer when you have multiple offer choices. Maybe try creating a new campaign if it's none of those.
On the note of CPVlab glitches, when looking at your targets, do you ever have duplicates that splits up your data so it's irrellevant? even when you hide page, offer, url etc? Sorry don't mean to hijack your thread, but i feel this has to be common as i see it all the time in my campaigns.
Such as
Walmart.com 500 impressions 0 clicks 0% CTR
Walmart.com 40 impressions 40 clicks 100% CTR
It makes it a pain in the ass to try and figure out each targets CTR. Then if i show my Lander to try and see which landers perform well on which targets it double duplicates and if i have 3 landers it would turn it into 6 different sets of data. very annoying! I've even tried hiding all columns but the impressions, and clicks and CTR columns
