I'm not exactly sure what happened here. My campaigns were running about 100 clicks per hour, so I copied them all 3x and added some new camps to test out other carriers. I unpause this morning, and I've been getting 4 clicks per hour.
Any ideas what's going on here? I should be getting around 300 clicks/hr...something must have gone wrong.
That is odd. So many variables in mobile it's almost impossible to single out any one thing that causes hiccups like this. My volume on other networks slowed to a damn crawl as well, completely unrelated, but at the same time boggling.
Yeah It's seriously annoying. The worst part is that nobody is going to be there to answer my support tickets until monday morning.
a) Competition
b) Your creatives got blocked by Publisher(s)
adultmoda has been consistent in traffic for me..
you running US?
Yes US, and you are right. i didnt get traffic for my ads that usually did. my ads went from CTR 1%~ to 0.31%. Ridiculous. I think someone bid high plus maybe he created a couple campaigns with high bids, and our ads are shown only after alllllll his ads, therefore the low CTR and traffic..
What's even more ridiculous is that this literally happened over night...10pm I was fine, 12 hours later it's like this.
The network must be a HELL of a lot smaller than they make it seem...
i got it the same way doryphoros.. adultmoda is acting up for me too.
UPDATE: I found out why. One of the biggest pubs has gone, doryphoros, if u track pubid, you'll know which one :>
Now on to the next question, what is the solution for this?
Hmm yeah I see it. This pub was giving me like 80% of my traffic before, not there today or yesterday.
Hopefully the site is just down for maintenance or something...hopefully it resolves soon. I wrote them an email asking about it.
If the pub just left adultmoda or something, I think it's time to stop wasting money there. Adultmoda is obviously just running their network based around one huge publisher and then claiming to be a big network.
In either case, I think I'm going to leave adultmoda and switch over to other traffic instead.
Seems like some of the Big pubs are either gone or someone bought all the inventory.
My rep confirmed: "...that traffic is not available anymore"
Wow that sucks. I wish I didn't still have money sitting in my account with them...I'll have to figure out what to do with that.
Maybe transfer the funds to admoda and do ringtone rebills to make as much back as possible asap.
How's admoda doing? Yep 80% of traffic in Adultmoda came from 1 pub, deondup, when u say traffic is not there anymore what do u really mean? It's gone forever? That's such a waste because they converted fairly well for me.. Now it's gone no point staying in Adultmoda.. Well unless u can make the junk traffic convert.. They still have some volume pubs, but didn't convert for me.
Yeah that pub converted really well for me, I was profiting and it had lots of volume. I'm sure we're all talking about the same one...
The only other ones that really convert have shit volume, and the high volume ones don't convert at all.
Adultmoda don't own the traffic. They just sell it. Publishers come and go all the time. Traffic gets bought up in bulk all the time. There are always options but I will not discount them as a traffic source just because there is a slight dip in traffic
thanks for the clarification deondup, i guess we just have to wait, and explore more mobile traffic at the moment...
Looking into Buzzcity and Inmobi, been 2 days with 3 clicks... What's the starting bid usually we go for?
Can't you contact the pub and ask to buy some inventory directly?
Buying direct on mobile is NOT like buying direct on web traffic. You will most likely buy a load of random impressions - this will include all carriers, wifi, android, feature phones, iphone ec. You will need a very good ad server to sort it out for you and even then its hard to monetize cause there will be a lot of traffic you don't want. Unless they can sell you exactly what you want you will be losing all the way.
^ what deondup said.
and you only have the pubid, you dont know the actual site
I'm actually starting to see some traffic from the aforementioned pubid...hopefully it comes back to it's former glory soon.
