I am interested in what you would consider the one or top task or skill set that you would'nt try do yourself but would rather outsource to a professional.
I'm not talking grunt work, but rather a professional skill.
I learnt early that to succeed you cant be a jack of all trades.
For my this copywriting. Its the one skill i consider a talent as apposed to something anybody can learn and excel at. Its also something id pay top dollar for more then anything else.
Id like to know your thoughts?
Server security and legal. I can't even pretend to be on top of it, totally worth spending on.
Instead of telling you what I don't do myself, I'll tell you what I do do myself. Creating campaigns, ads, landers, finding offers, uploading ads, managing campaigns, copywriting. The rest I leave up to outsourcing. E.g Any programing outside HTML/CSS, servers, legal, accounting.
Programming and anything beyond the most basic landing page making / website making. I used to hack it out myself when I started but heck no, it's worth it to pay for your time and to save yourself the frustration. Either do that or just take a week to teach yourself how to use dreamweaver or photoshop rather than being frustrated every time you try to use either one. I wish I had done that at the beginning when I first started.
Yeah. Here is another thought. A new online campaign has many critical points of failure. For example a great offer with a shit lander/sales copy can bomb, even with a well thought out and run ad campaign. The lander is the one thing ill pay well to get right the first time. I honestly wonder how many adwords campaigns have been killed because the CPC was to high to be profitable. CPC is then blamed when in actual fact a better lander with a better CR would have been profitable with the CPC.
A mistake in 1 place often seems like the issue is somewhere else entirely. Being careful of this has been invaluable.
