title says it all, I managed to get it to 20% CTR and my setup is
ad > landing page > popup > coreg path
not really working at that CTR
what did you guys manage to achieve?
Depends on the niche/vertical... for starters, kill that "popup", or at least split test it. In my experience I've found popups launched off the registration page could affect conversions and RPU.
The few coreg paths I have running profitable at the moment is about 33% from click to path.
My process is:
ad > landing page > info gathering page > path
I haven't even begun to optimise it to be honest, just let it run on auto pilot as it's profitable and was wanting to create more angles to run but I've been sidetracked with another campaign.
I honestly think landing page CTR is an over rated metric.
Back in the day I tested flog vs farticle and wrote farticles off because of the lower CTRs, months later I realized low CTR didn't matter the CR off that page was so much higher leading to an overall higher EPV (earnings per visitor)
Think about it you can get your CTR sky high by making every image/icon a link but at the end of the day all that matters is conversions, and in your case EPV... if you use PPV labs this is easy to test
Does your popup gather the users info? If so I'd split test it with a regular page, that could affect your CTR to the coreg path
You can make a coreg campaign work on a 20% ctr. I would start split testing your messaging. If users get to the coreg path and don't know what to do, or are not determined enough they ain't gonna be making you money.
