Noob Q - Multiple FB Accounts
Ok this is a noob question...
I've seen threads about how to maintain multiple FB accounts. I operate on 2 FB ad accounts, one for the company I work for and my personal one.
Obviously, I work from home all the time, so sometimes I have reason to access both accounts from the same IP.
Does FB ban people simply for just having multiple accounts???

To follow-up on this - I read this on the FB Ads site:
"How can I effectively organize and manage multiple advertising accounts?
If you manage multiple accounts, you can use Account Groups to better organize and access them. Click here for more information on Account Groups."

They don't seem to be anti multiple accounts to me from the above, so I'm really confused.
What I would like to know is... Say I'm not running anything dodgy or duplicating camps, what is the likelihood of me getting banned if I run 2 advertising accounts spending at least 4 figures per week???

Notice that question/answer is under the "Adverts and business solutions"
Marketing business can and will manage accounts per client, so they have one account for each client they are advertising on behalf of. That's businesses with business accounts, not personal accounts.
If you are running multiple accounts I would think you would flag yourself for suspicious payment activity regardless. In the eyes of Facebook there is no justification for you breaking their ToS by making multiple accounts. Why would you need two anyway if you're only spending 4 figures and not doing anything dodgy?

Zeno, it would be 2 accounts - one for personal, one for the marketing business I'm working for. So the card on the other account would be the business account. That's why I was looking under Advert and business solutions. But the other one would be my own, the personal account.
I guess I'm just worried if FB sees me logging into 2 accounts from the same IP, then both will get hit with a ban.
4 figures was just a really ballpark figure of what we're doing at the moment to start with - we're growing but I don't know how big it will get yet.
And you're right, if it was just my own stuff - I wouldn't need 2 accounts.

Yeah they wouldn't like it - managing an account for your business and a personal account that is. Whether or not they would ban both is up to them.
If you outgrow your account you can just ask them to bump it's daily limit, or just email sales and say you want a high limit business account for your marketing business, then just use that. If you're just running legit stuff there will be no problem. When you set up your account you could also say you will be continuing with private campaigns on your personal account in order to segregate the billing sources - if they have a problem with that then they can just give you a second business account.

I tend to do things based upon prior data and NOT what fb says or doesnt say on there ever changing policy of BS.....
but this is what I will tell you.....why risk it?
why not just keep things 100% separate and define your own fate as opposed to fb getting pissed at you one day and killing all your accounts in 1 move....
just my advice

I had 2 fb accounts on same name, ip and stuff for about 2 months with no problem, however I used creditcard on one of the accounts and paypal on the other.
Pro tip is to not use your personal account for advertising.

Thanks Polar -
How do you mean: keep things 100% separate? You mean, different IP, different laptop, etc?
