Interesting that nobody has asked any questions on Frequency Cap. If they have I can't find the posts.
What's your strategies with Frequency Cap?
Do you run @ 1/4 weeks in testing to get the most amount of unique visits?
Do you run @ 1/24 hours and run a quick campaign rotating LP's and offers to keep the campaign profitable?
Do you run @ 1/24 hours and run a campaign after testing until unprofitable then pause for a month run again?
Be great to get some feedback on what you guys do with Frequency Cap in a testing phase and after a testing phrase like pushing the Frequency Cap out to help with keeping a campaign profitable longer.
When I start a campaign and want data fast I have a frequency cap of 1/24 hours.
When I have a profitable campaign and want to make it last as long as possible I set it o 1/3 days.
I have tested 1/5 days and 1/7 days and seems like 1 every 3 days does the best for me.
to elaborate a bit on that what brock said....if you are testing alot of variables.....ie creatives.....the freq cap isn't so important and as bbrock said it will get you data faster if its set lower.....
but once you have some creatives locked down....and shits working raising it to like 1/3 or 1/7 can slow the banner blindness from setting in....
