LI account cancelation/ban avoidance

Hi,

I'm just a beginner but form my very little experience I know affiliate marketing and advertising comes at a cost if you don't know how to do it. I have a couple of websites in which i sell stuff i ship from my home. Couple of years ago i relied on adwords to run this sites, started trying to make extra money on some campaigns for clickbank and got my account banned forever.. (my main business got hurt)

So, I would like to ask which things could get you banned from CPV sites like LI? Does this happen regularly? I only have one credit card and Im not from the US, so getting a new credit card involves a very long and rather painful process for me.

Im following the 40 day guide along and I have already set up an account in LI but I really want to be careful about what I do in LI.

So, what would you really advice me to stay away from if I want to maintain my account as clean and safe as possible?

Thank you for your patience!

LI is fairly lenient compared to the major boys out there (Google, Bing, Facebook). Don't use exit pops on your landers, don't use auto-sizing script, don't cloak, don't promote porn (some little covered breasts MIGHT be ok).. there's more i think the pros can come and shed some lights

I have a question about auto-resizing on LI. My lander was created to fit the pop-up size but most offers are larger than the pop-up area. Does anyone know if it is ok to auto-resize after the visitor clicks on your lander and goes the the offer. Or is auto-resizing never allowed?

Autoresizing after the click is fine

Any relevant question is a good one.

LI means Lead Impact (the PPV [Pay Per View] or CPV [Cost Per View]) advertising platform that afilia320 in post #1 was refering to)

See: Abbreviations

Also, yes you can advertise on LinkedIn. It's just you'd need the right campaign. It's not so ideal for typical affiliate campaigns.

I am pretty sure OP is referring to LeadImpact which is a PPV channel in pretty significant decline

Re: LinkedIn, you definitely CAN advertise on LinkedIn, but it is likely to be much too pricey for most typical affiliate offers. That said, if you need to target a VERY affluent clientele, LinkedIn is excellent, as the average income of someone on LinkedIn is massive and is usually several times higher than what you can find on other channels.
