Hey
I spend the last couple of hours developing a script & writing a guide that allows you to easily setup your own Facebook app, and create Page tabs.
Now I know your gonna say -> there are 100s of Page tab editors out there already.
I know but this is one really just for affiliates and so that you can create and host your own page tabs without having to rely on 3rd party applications.
So far the app does the following:
Oh yes you can still do this!
Looking forward to this... I am a total noob when it comes to setting up/creating fb apps for promoting offers.
Sounds awesome. When will it be available?
Depends what other features people want. Ive got a version ready we use with noipfraud, but I will need to customize it to strip out some of that functionality so everyone can use it.
IMPORTANT: Pass Dynamic tracking data (like creative ID) via the main Facebook URL to your embedded/iframed pages
Yesssss. By app are you meaning some sort of WYSIWYG editor like the coreg tool? Or just something to automate getting the tabs set up quickly so that you can focus on customising the page with whatever editor you use. I've just started using ShortStack, which is great, but I don't like not having full html control available and everything seems slower when you're loading stuff from 3rd party servers/CDNs and the HTML always seems to get bogged down with excessive css/javascript that you don't need.
The main thing I like about using it though is the easy addition of Facebook components e.g. Liking, commenting, sharing; and then the widgets for promotions and contests, autoresponder opt-in forms, youtube, polls, countdowns etc.
Zeno -> its html/php based no wysiwyg. Most of us have our preferred tools for that so all you need to do is edit a config file and your good to go.
Im looking for 2 beta testers that can go through the guide and test it out. Hit me up on PM with your email and ill invite you to the basecamp project for this.

PM'ed ya Tijn
Any update on this?
Would like my page to load a bit quicker.
Wow thats great, i am really looking forward to it.
