Hi Guys
Here is the first instalment of my next tutorial. Its all about ripping and editing offer pages, and getting those up and running as landing pages quickly so you can test new offers fast.
Basically i show you how to create quick landing pages based on the offer landing page...all with free tools.
Part 1 will show you how to create and edit the main page design
Part 2 will show you how to quickly test these offers (to follow)
Part 3 will show you how to do full html rips using bo.lt (to follow)
The tool I used is http://pixlr.com - a free simple version of photoshop, available online.
Here is the browser extension to grab web page graphics: http://pixlr.com/grabber
Here is the end result

But still - got a lot to learn if I comare this to good old polarbacon's videos.
If you like the music in the back ground, let me know and ill up it somewhere;

Awesome! Really good, clear and straightforward tutorial.
good shit, will surely help a lot of newbies here!
Thanks for that tutorial, I plan to use that right away!
I just want to have one campaign that actually has more than 2 conversions! This should help.
Sweet. Ill do the next part later today
great tutorial, tijn! what about the music? where can I get that mix?
ill up it to soundcloud
here you go:

Awesome man, exactly what I needed as I just started playing around with photoshop!
And props for the music, at some points it was a bit distracting (you talking + someone singing in the background) but definitely gonna download that
(Where did you get the originals from?)
Looking forward to the other parts.
pixlr tool is great, thanks....LP newbie question but i've only gotten LP by scraping HTML/CSS source code into html editor but do people use this method for normal LP(full screen) by turning the jpg into html file and just linking it to the offer like you did with ppv ?
i would say that for full landing pages that are particularly text heavy your better off checking the part 3 i posted about bo.lt and scraping the html/css. ful page graphics will just load to slowly.
thanks for the very good Video
No probs! Thanks for the time to watch it. Now go and crush it!!!!
Thanks for excellent stuff.
In the campaign tracking has been done through CPV Lab. As a beginner i dont have that kind of budget to but it when i can do it with propser 202. I would really help if the same can be demonstrated through it.
I hope i am not missing something here.
thanks,
chilliflakes
Yes you should be fine running your campaigns with prosper. The screens will be slightly different, but check out the excellent training videos on the prosper site to learn how to user it,
Hey thanks man! You just graduated me from a sadass loser peerfly direct linker, to a multiple landing page cpvlab rotating WINNER! First day = Profit$
Really liked the Pixlr Add-on. It makes life so easy
I use Photoshop for all editing work, but this one is damn cool tool...
ohh man, just joined the forum and love it already! awesome tutorial! on my way to the next phases...
Awsome video thanks a lot tijn!!!
Man sweet vid - just what I needed but was that last bit seriously in real time?! Need to get my swerve on!
Thanks for that tutorial.
This looks great. Does the link for part 1 still work? I can not seem to get it to play on my pc. Thanks.
Ive run out of bandwidth on the hosting I was using for all these video tutorials. Ill move it all tomorrow and edit the links.
Great thanks.
I posted this on the other thread but just in case your looking here for the update
Video updated to vimeo one so you should be able to view this now
it says "private video" and there's no click button on it...
Sorted
I never knew its so simple to create a Pop-Up window! Thanks Man!
Awesome. Thanks for the information. Making landing pages is kind of a struggle for me so this has helped out a lot.
This is a nice tutorial. 100 times simpler than photoshop.
I'm not sure I understand why you would reduce the size of the landing page in the beginning. Is it because it would be a smaller file to upload/load faster?
Urr, because the users load it faster? Browsing speed is a huge thing. If a user perceives a page as taking too long they will often leave. There are numerous studies out there on page load speed vs user retention/engagement, it would be very unwise to ignore that. Speed is king.
load speed is one of the most important things. Especially when you are on pushing on facebook. You have such a short time to capture the attention that u really cant rely on som slow but fancy graphics,
video seems to be not working...it tells that video is private..anyway i can watch it
I'm afraid not: tijn's videos aren't accessible at the moment.
Sorry about that.
UPDATE: They're BAAAAAACK!
All of tijn's videos should now be accessible.
How can I access these videos?
We'll get them back up after the holidays. Sorry about the temporary inaccessibility.
So is there only one video (on vimeo) now for this, or are there more elsewhere?
The second part of the tutorial doesn't have video, but you can find it here - http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...Pages-on-Speed
