Hey Sexy? Want some dating data? Find out if the "Boobie Rule" really is true!

Ok, here we go again, Moaaarrrrrrr ad results. This test was ran with Jumptap and targeted app traffic. Well mainly app traffic, a couple ads were tested on wap traffic, but they didn't have as much volume, see for yourself (hint: scroll down). You are splitting app traffic and wap taffic right? App traffic is something you should be testing, last I heard Jumptap is 60%+ app traffic. So why are you ignoring it? The offers where both from Offermobi and 2 offers where tested. Ok enough crap from me, lets get on to the good stuff.

Note: There wasn't any tweaking done to this campaign, it was set and forget for a couple days over a weekend. The goal was to collect data and start to find out whats working.

Offers

Wow! one offer really sucked. This is a damn good reason why you should be rotating out offers. As we can see the no scrubs offer had about half the clicks but about 4x as many conversions. Even and dummy can figure which offer is the clear winner here. Now we have an winner offer lets go find some good carriers.

Carriers

While not profitable (cpc was .05) ATT was the best converter. Verizon and T-Mobile still showed promise, we might be able to eliminate a bad site or handset to make them profitable.

Sites

There we go a few apps that can be killed. This might make all the carriers profitable. This is also a good reason why I won't be letting a new campaign run without watching it anymore. I don't need 657 clicks to tell me the publisher sucks.

ADS

As I said earlier, there was a ton more app traffic. This is something you do not want to ignore at Jumtap, test it for yourself. The 2 ads with blank buttons actually flash "Start Now >>" The screen cap just didn't capture that. Hey look there, the pink-txtme.gif had a good click through rate, could it be the "Boobie Rule" in action?

Next Actions

* Rotate Winning offer from other networks
* Eliminate bad sites and high ctr ads.
* Kill off wap traffic.

Final Thoughts
Do some of these images look familiar? Where did I get them from?......Times up, I got them from the nice STM people who are running Facebook and POF ads, yup I swiped some of their pics. Now before you start screaming thats not right, think about it. They told me which images are good, so why not use that info? Unless I'm blind and crazy (I might be ) we added our own twist. Which many of you are too lazy to do. Yes I'm calling some of you out, but you need to learn. How many of you copied ads directly from my last case study? No need to lie, I know you did. I seen the ads in the wild. Go find whats working and make your own changes and make it better. You don't have to spy on mobile banners to find out whats working, good ads are good ads. So go find some ads that catch your eye and use them for ideas. Look across all niches, and ad types, learn from others then start making your own banners, you will never be truly successful you do.

Oh, while you are here why don't you click that little thanks button below, you know you want to.

Nice study dude. It's crazy the extremes of CTRs you got using similar angles. I guarantee most affs would of scrolled past and ignored the "mudcouple" image when searching for creatives. I would of. Interesting results man.

Lol @ the mud couple! the "find something different near you" line seemed to have do well too!

"chatprofile" and "pink-txtme" both had cleavage, but only pink txt me did well! Which i think makes it safe to say you can rule out cleavage as a winning ctr tool!

Side note about 60% of T Mobile traffic is now prepaid so that DOES NOT work on mobile subscriptions. I would stay away from T Mobile
