Hey guys,
Hope this question is acceptable. I couldn't find anything satisfactory via search.
I am a veteran SEO but new to display ads, mainly Google Display Network.
Looking to build a more secure income via paid advertising.
My questions is, for a PPC newbie, what is the best route to follow if you have a reasonable budget, EG $5kpm to put into Google Display Network (with a mass market travel product).
Should i learn and run my own campaigns or hire a ppc management company. Ive heard really good things about the top ones.
Any guidance is much appreciated.
Cheers.
Run your own - that way you learn how to do it correctly. Go through their adwords certification course, and just put up small tests. No one will run your campaigns as well as you if you learn it right.
I run all my own and wouldn't punt it to another agency
If you have the time I would advise you to do it yourself. This way you will learn much about your customers.
could do both...
but you would want to understand the business of paid advertising yourself,
that way, you can make some smart decisions as to whether the company you outsource
to is really doing their part to optimise your campaigns and find new angles of testing placements, CTRs, conversions.
Check out a course from perry marshall, or if you PM me I'll send you the training guide I crafted up for PPC employees at the last agency I was employed at
I could manage your PPC, PM me.
Or you could use my old agency I worked at ==> http://www.nationalpositions.com/ Ask specifically for Chris Darabi to manage your PPC, I trained him and hes good. They charge 600/month or 13% of spend whichever is higher and are worth it.
