Half the battle with FB is finding an offer that converts and the other half is finding an ad that can get a high CTR.

You found that your offer converts well, now its a matter of just cranking out ads until you find one that sticks with a high CTR. Keep churning out ads, its really a numbers game and partially luck as well. Don't write off ads too quickly, especially if they aren't given significant impressions off the bat.

Great follow along, keep it up!

thanks. Flux - What is considered a decent ctr for dating? .15+??

Decent CTR = one that gives you a consistently stable CPC below your real EPC. That's all. I've done gaming campaigns where most ads hit 0.3%+ CTR, but older females mustered up 0.075%. They converted a lot better though so ROI was just as high.

well then. Looks like I have myself decent ctr

So I got 1 ad doing .128 - my suggest is: 0.18- 0.44, my bid is 0.5 and I am paying 0.34

Should I leave it and hope fb lowers it? or can I manually lower my bid - I know its an opnionated question but I'd love to hear, and others can learn based on others arguments

Well it really depends on your targeting.

Generally, on a 50k-100k demo you should aim for a 0.4% CTR, on a 1-2 million demo you should aim for 0.10% - 0.20% CTR.

Yeah but like Zeno said, it all comes down to whichever ad is getting you a positive ROI.

I'd leave the bid for the moment. You don't want the ad to drop down in the column of ad delivery or go nearer to the fold, could influence CTR/CVR in a bad way. I tend to either a) leave the bid as high as I had it originally until I NEED to get lower CPCs to remain profitable or b) after the ad has been performing strongly for several days, 100s of clicks, drop the bid a bit and see how the CTR/CPC/CVR responds. In that situation though I try to keep the bid well above the CPC i'm getting, i.e. keep a nice high ceiling.

I top out at .2ctr
my demo is about 28k with kw's and 240k without
I will work on my ctr and hopefully achieve .4 before my 28k demo fades to darkness
I will post my stats of today later on.
So far it looks great!
Cheers

`you seem to be going on right direction...try finding girls with long legs..they tend to spark interest and give high ctr..

Hey everyone. Sorry for the late updates but I had some technical issues, aswell as I was in San Diego for the A4D meetup from the 8th-11th.

A quick update - I had my CA Be2 profitable as you can see from the previous posts above. And I wake up on Wed morning with an $80 adspend with only 3 conversions. So without being informed Be2 Canada is put on pause and changed it to quickflirt offer or something.

So that completely killed my confidence and my very first profitable campaign!

So I am not going to try some international countries with Be2

Perhaps France, I will get some translations done, and a lander and keep you guys updated

thanks!
