I'm wondering how do you handle a visitor that's exiting your lander?
Do you ship him a popup? message alert box?
I've heard of daisy chaining, but I'm not sure here...

some use an exit pop requesting the person to stay on the page and view another offer, a time limited one.
or an exit opt in email, like a drop box to capture visitor details before he leaves
