Media Buys & Click Fraud .. How To Prevent? (5)
Hey guys, I have been doing various media buys for about a year now. I recently have been targeted by some group of Aholes and have been getting click botted , which has caused me to loose tons of cash. I recorded IP's and saw clicks from countries outside of my GEO range.. I am trying to figure out if there is a way to prevent click fraud at all or is it something that i'm going to have to live with? I emailed the places I buy the media hoping they could help me with the problem but no reply yet..
So you are getting charged for the bot clicks? It is up to the network to manage click fraud. I've had networks that have given me credit based on invalid/fraud clicks.
Hit them up, ask them about it, show them your logs.
Are you paying cpc or cpm?
Produce tangible reprots and contact your account manager, in most* cases they will do something to fix it 
Sucks that the burden of proof is on you, but unfortunately that's the nature of the beast. Good luck bro!
