Hi guys, I'm trying to pass a target to LP from cpvlab. The default is &keyword={{sm_vurl}} for directCPV.
Is this up to date? Anyone know? It doesn't work for me. {{sm_vurl}} returned in cpvlab instead of the target name. Also the target doesn't pass to LP so can't get certain variables to work
Any one know what the working URL Append Token is?
Thanks
edit -- see you're already using the &keyword={{sm_vurl}} this should work you need to check the box to pass target to LP or offer (depending if you're using LP or DL)
Yeah idid check the box.... I get {{sm_vurl}}
Is this right?
untick the pass target as target option and try it again to see if it works... also post a screenshot of the offer URL (you can still mask it I want to see if you're passing the variable at the end)
hmm.. there isn't a link in directcpv where i can click to test. I have to copy and paste the cpvlab generated url which goes in the 'Destination URL' input box in directCPV..so I manually copy/paste the Destination uRL in directCPV to the browser URL to test: http://trackingdomain.com/base.php?c...word={{sm_vurl}} I then would replace with the target domain at the end like this:
http://trackingdomain.com/base.php?c...yword=test.com
At the offer page, the url looks like this:
http://domain.com/d/folder/path.php?...offer=test.com
Also I checked when target pass checkbox is unticked it is like this: http://domain.com/index.php
when the check box is ticked it looks like this in the url: http://domain.com/index.php?target={{sm_vurl}}
I just made the change - currently no live traffic from directCPV yet... probably have to wait until tomorrow to see.
Here's a screenshot of what it looks like in directCPV - i don't understand what those variables they show here does. Does it have anything to do with passing targets?
Thank you so much sm1810
