Got my first retro today lol

Knew it was going to happen eventually. Was running dating and the offer is green on MyWot, maybe it got lower ratings recently or something. The retro was for the "content promoted" not the ads themselves.

This sucks though since I had been split testing like a good boy and just found a couple of .2+ ctr.

The email they sent me said nothing about my ads. The ads aren't risque at all btw. The email only mentioned the content I was promoting within my ads. So will I be ok if I find a safe dating offer and keep using these ads? Or will they send me to banned camp?

no rhyme or reason to banning really...if they feel your doinga disservice to their user base its by by account......

if you resubmit with the exact same ad....and it gets live then retro'ed again you def can be considered "abusive" in their eyes and you may loose the account....

try some new ads carefully 3-4 at a time till you get shit sorted....

Another reason why I am so stoked I stopped using FB ads a year and a half ago. Down with FB.

Always keep it in your back pocket as a traffic source if you can afford to do so.

Sometimes it's just because Facebook doesn't want you to have such a high CTR image. 0.1+ is alright but 0.2+ and above will mostly let them re-tro disapprove.

This is not always the case but, I really have no fucking idea what those reviewers are thinking.

Currently have one 0.2+ ad rocking, let's see how long does it last. Wish I have the luck.

I've gotten my fair share of retro's over the years and one thing that I assume is that sometimes Facebook doesn't want you paying less than specific CPC range. This obviously goes hand and hand with a high CTR, since a high CTR = lower CPC, but I've worked out other tactics on paying less per click without a high CTR and many times my ad gets retro'd once it hits the low ranges. The CTR on those ads would be in the .10-.15%, so it's far from "high".

I assume you mean specifically when doing dating?

I only get retros in dating. I'm doing just as much volume in gaming and haven't gotten a retro in a very long time.

Yes agree with you. Guess it's them who don't want you to pay less than their acceptable range. As they will be making less money from you.

Facebook is a bitch don't you agree?

I've got retro's is many niches, but mainly ones Facebook doesn't really like. The retro disapproval is usually because they suspect or actually see suspicious activity within your ad. I really doubt facebook reviewers know to disapprove your ad once the CTR flattens out and your still achieving low cpcs..
