There's a lot of marketers cold-bloodedly killin' it in a variety of ways. I'd like to know what perspective you've found the most useful. Do you focus on demographics, traffic or verticals?
Are you:
1) Expert in a traffic source - You know the bids, timing, when you have a good deal and when to stay away. King of the arbitrage.
2) Expert in a vertical - You know what copy sells and what doesn't. You have a converting LP for every new offer.
3) Expert in a demographic - You know what this group wants better than they do. You have a feel for the words to make any and every offer attractive to them.
I'd have made this a poll but there are probably other combinations. You don't need to "out" your vertical or source, I'd only like to know what approach worked best for you?
i prefer vertical, as if you have winning campaign in that vertical, that mean you know how to convert those visitors
always 1
1 1st, then move to 2 once i figure out 1.
I dont regard it that simple. It's all connected, but you have to be careful that you don't end up being Jack of all trades, master of none.
Outsource what makes sense to you - creatives, LPs etc. If I have to choose, I like to believe Im 50% 1), 20% 2) and 30% 3)
