I had my first $100 day in affiliate marketing ever 2 days ago on 16th February.
The revenue came from 3 different campaigns that I am running through Neverblue.
2 Were direct linking campaigns using 7 search, and the other one is an SEO project.
This is a milestone that's been in the back of my mind for a few years now, so it's felt great to finally hit it.
I'm going through the STM 40 Day guide, as we speak my goal is to hit $100 profit for 7 days straight within 3 months...Hopefully I'll be updating this thread by Mid May with another post
Congratulations! How long did it take you to get to where you are now in terms of income?
Wish you a very good luck! Hope you will hit $1k profit soon
Awesome, just keep setting goals and upping the ante.
Every Christmas I size up where I'm at. I remember my first year into getting online I was psyched I was making 1.00/day, next year 10.00, next year 100.00, then 1,000, then 10,000 you get the idea...
Congrats my man!
congratulations¡¡
Congrats man, keep grindin' brother and keep reaching higher.
Keep it up man! Good job!
Props man!!! Wanna hear back from you in 1 months time, hopefully you're pushing on ahead everyday until then mate!
Cool! I will also reach that someday
Money.... this success story make me wet..... better than making love....
Congratulations!!! Keep it up!!!
Hi everyone thanks for all of your replies, it's awesome to hear encouragement from all you guys;
@Fleer It's probably taken 2 years to be honest...BUT I could have made it some much more quicker if I would have stuck to one thing, and pushed hard to be the best at the one type of traffic source. I've done OK, with SEO, PPC even some Facebook stuff in the past, but always got discouraged when profitable campaigns either died off, or got frustrated trying to figure something out, and was attracted by the next "golden goose" or bought into the hype of some self appointed guru of IM.
Over the next 3 months my plan is to push as hard as I can after completing the 40 day PPV course, flushing the fear down the pan with my turds, which should pay dividends if I stay focused.
@ramgunjal Thanks a lot...I would love to be hitting them figures soon...that's the next "big" goal I have in mind.
@theangryrussian Thanks a lot, it's great to hear you talk about the progressive nature of this game. For the majority of my minuscule IM career, I looked up to people who have made it big, without ever hearing about their journey, and in the early days there was always just that assumption that they were awesome and started making $1000 dollars a day in a few weeks, which gave me an unrealistic view of how I should be approaching this long term.
@mrgreen Thanks a lot Mr Green.
@hd2010 I'm definitely going to push for it this year, but if it does happen it'd be a massive bonus, the immediate goal is to achieve consistency, as my earnings have been pretty sporadic up till now.
@manuovi Thanks man
@adamcarr Thanks I will do, going to be grinding like the dance hall queen at a Shabba concert on ectasy.
@groomez Thanks a lot, going to be pushing hard this year.!.
@maynzie Thanks, I'll definitely be updating this thread as an and when I hit any significant milestones
@robrave There's everything we need here in STM to achieve that, I have just scratched the surface of the info here on this forum, but that surface has been 24 carat gold.
@hd2010 Ha ha, I love it...It gave me a twinge..
@affpayinggao Thanks a lot I will do
CONGRATZ BUDDY!!
That's awesome I'm trying to get to the same myself with POF, found myself 2 $70 days in a row and then droppe down to $50 and even lower haha, but I know the potential is there and I have a best friend who wont let me quit at it, hopefully soon I can have my thread up with the same success story! Keep it up and we'll race to the $500 days haha !
Grats dude, the first dollars the best for sure!
Congrats man !
Congrats man. Hopefully I'll be making a thread like this by the time you're making your 1k/day thread
Congrats man! Time to set new goals! Oh, and don't forget to reward yourself. A nice dinner, a bottle of scotch or anything. Just have fun, clear your mind, take a deep breath and start hitting your $1k/days! Belive me, you're closer than you think!
@JaxThatMoney That's awesome, it sounds like you getting some kind of consistency going, which is the next area I need to concentrate on, as my results are really sporadic at the moment. I'm also definitely up for that $500 / day race.....Leeroooyyyy Jeeeennkins.!.
@MJDUB Thanks dude, yeah it was sweet finally hitting that goal I'd set myself.
@abhilash Cheers dude.
@doryphoros Hey dude, you should join the race between me and JaxThatMoney....hopefully it's a short race.!!..
@bstrd Cheers Tamas, thanks for the good advice. I haven't rewarded myself for the $100 goal being met, so I'll definitely do it...It makes sense, so I've got something more visceral as a reward.....Sure am hoping you're right about the 1k/days as well, time to focus and re-establish them goals :-)
How many 7search campaigns did you launch before you found some winners? I have recently started testing out some of their traffic and am having a hard time finding anything with enough volume to perform a proper test.
Haha yeah getting there man , actually just checked my stats today first day in the red :O -$15!!! Early start though this is usually where I'm at the smallest point, + I launched some new stuff so just culled the duds even if break even or finish a little up today it's progress! But yeah man game on!! I'll let you know when I hit my $100!!
@clickez I started out with I-phone and I-pad offers, which I made profitable for a while, but then that faded, so I went to adult dating, which again was profitable for a few weeks and then died out, and then payday loans which has been profitable for me.
With 7 search, I'd recommend bidding really low to start out with...What I actually did was reduce all of my bids to $0.01 after I started my campaigns..If you're keywords are broad enough you'll still get clicks. Then it's just a case of raising the bids on the ones that are converting. To get real volume..you have to think broad keywords...and treat it almost like the Google content network...ie loosley related and broad. So write your ad copy with this in mind, stressing benefits, and making it short and sharp. This is what worked for me on 7search. Hope it helps.
@JaxThatMoney Ha ha good stuff dude, I am just getting into PPV now.....I have a testing budget of all my profit from previous campaigns, and am going to try and learn it as quick as possible testing out at least 10 offers...I'll be sure to keep you up to date on my progress as well.
best of luck with it man, i'm definitely keen to see how well PPV can go once I got POF mastered
Nice one man! I'm trying PPV on mediatraffic atm. Had 1 successful campaign in the past before I had a clue what I was doing so fingers crossed this one will work out better!
Congratulations. What are the guides / tools that helped you the most?
@JaxThatMoney.....Same here.....Getting everything in place from the 40 day guide..There's a lot in there, it's a steep learning curve, but awesome content.!.
@hungryim That's an awesome start...wishing you all the best.....
@johnnyfitz I can't really give you one definitive source, I suppose it's just been a gradual progression, learning different bits from all over the place and applying it.
Would definitely say that the 40 day guide from this forum is up there in terms content, and a focused plan to get you moving the right direction....
Congrats dude, good luck with your next campaigns!
Are you at $300/day yet?
Nice work! congratulations
@jimcrim Thanks dude, I'll update this thread when I hit another significant milestone.
@infinity303 Not quite there yet...My results have not really been consistent, but I am building out new campaigns to try and change this...so a run of 7 days of $100 day revenues or above is my next goal
@hpsless Thanks dude.
Congrats Bro, Just saw this thread. Wasn't aware you hit the $100 cap. Keep pushing it !!!! :-)
@tonyt2929 Thanks dude,
It was a great feeling to hit that milestone. I'm going to pushing hard with PPV until I hit my next goal of $100 dollar day profit for 7 days straight. I've been having sporadic success, but I've got to build it up to consistency now, that's the next big goal..
Really like to read these success stories.Congrats man!
Thanks seodad and shermanchoo,
I am going to be starting my next big campaigns within the month....Ironically I have been reading through the book "Procrastination Equation".....It's an awesome book by the way for anyone that finds themselves procrastinating, or impulsively jumping from one thing to the next (Like I have with my personal campaigns for the past few years)...I'm only halfway through the book, but it's already helping massively.
Look forward to updating this thread, or starting a new one soon,
Ollie
my congratulations!
turn of skype, turn off cell phone, shut the door.
put a guard dog shitzu that bites anyone who tries to enter.
distractions subtly turn a 1 hr job into 4 hrs...
Ha ha,
Thanks shermanchoo, them shitzu' look like an intimidating breed....not sure if I'd be able to deal with one of them....I do know what you mean about distractions though....There are tons of them just a click away as well. How do you manage to keep the likes of Youtube and Facebook @ bay?
Ollie
Hey Buddy,
Congrats ! This is just a start,once you go more n more deep $100 would be a very small amount for you.
I wish you all the best .....
Hey there manishmehra,
Thanks for your kind words....I'm really confident that I am going to get to the next stage....just like anything in life...I want it now now..!..But I'm confident it will come soon, there's too much motivation and awesome content in this forum for it not to.
Ollie
Awesome stuff 23gillies! Love hearing stories like yours!
congrats man.. enjoy the game
wow congrats man keep it up
Grats for reaching that stage, now it's all about replicating and scaling up
Congrats!
Ha ha Russian,
Yeah finished reading the book...Read it twice...still going through the exercises though...I've still be running a number of campaigns on Trada.com and via SEO
Hey there bangkokbaby,
I've summarised my key take-aways below;
- The part of your brain that is responsible for motivating you to action (limbic brain) is the same part of your brain works in the here in now, and is massively impulsive, think caveman..only really interested in your immediate needs, eating, sex, social status ect...
- The CEO part of your brain (pre-frontal cortex) that deals with forward thinking and long term planning has less motivation oomph,
- So in order for me to become motivated on achieving my long term goals I really have to get my limbic brain on-side..
What I'm doing to achieve this is;
- Breaking down all of my tasks into the smallest constituent parts.
- Also importantly estimate how long each task will take you. This has also taken the uncertainty out of a task for me..I feel that much more willing to do tasks because I know it should take 20/30 minutes ect
- Becoming aware of ALL of my procrastination habits. I have written a list and pinned it to my cork board. If I'm meant to be doing work and I'm on Youtube I know I'm procrastinating.
This last one has given me the most clarity + motivation so far it's...
- Writing down your long term goals in detail, where you want to live, where you want to be in your affiliate marketing career, what car you want to drive
and then
Write down where you are now in all of these areas. Focus on the gap, between where you want to be and where you are now. For me it's taken the dreamyness
out of my affiliate marketing ideas..
Anyhow I'm not doing the book justice, I'd recommend it. It's helping me get tasks done at the moment.
Hey kingdookie,
I'd say one of the most important things for me out of all of the things above is creating a list, instead of dreamy vague goals (like I used to) , I'll write down what tasks need to be done and give exact time estimates...It's allowing me to do a lot more than I used to, as it's taking the scariness and uncertainty out of the tasks for me.
Another book that I can recommend is the Happiness advantage..Here's a ted.com talk from the author http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/en/sha...tter_work.html that should give you an idea of the contents of the book.
