Facebook Changing Body Copy From 135>90 as of 2/29!

As the title says.....


not a huge issue....but in some foreign Languages it could make things tough.....

either way its happening I am sure so they can get more ad space....

Do you know if that only applies to new ads? Or, will that screw with running ads?

"Unedited Ads and Featured Stories created before 2/29 will be grandfathered until 5/15. Beyond those deadlines, Ads and Featured Stories longer than 90 characters will NOT run"

I hate Facebook even more. Whatever they are doing recently is telling me that they want even more money.

90 words? I gonna get my ads re-translated, and that means additional cost.

Beware - I think there might also be a couple of other changes coming on this day that are going to make affiliates lives harder too according to an internal source.

thanks for the heads up!

ridiculous and obvious efforts at squeezing more ad revenue. You'd think they would just focus more on providing more targeting, ad extensions (like video), etc. than jamming more useless copy-less images into their user interface.
