How do you guys do Day Parting on POF or FB?

Hey guys,
Just wanna check if you guys do day/week parting on pof n fb, and if so how do you do it? Manually or using ubot or creating custom scripts?

I love pretty much everything about POF other than the lack of a few functions like day/week parting...

I just started learning POF, but I've been testing out day-parting manually. It'd be cool to create or find a script for this so I can pause and start things at weird hours if I have to. Sleep is very important to me

I have a script that does dayparting if anyone is interested. At the moment its not very userfriendly and you need to know how to setup cronjobs on your server and be familiar with php to set it up.

If there are enough people interested I will do a quick tutorial. If there is loads of interest Ill have a chat with Besmir/MrGreen to see if we can add it into Affexpert or PoF Uploader.

+1 for me, this is one of my biggest pain as I have a number of international campaigns that are running in vastly different time zones, and I tend to be bad at getting things started and stopped consistently. Anyway, this is one of the biggest things for me presently, so I'd be super interested.

Hey tijn,
That would be great man! I have basic knowledge of setting up cron jobs, but i think majority of people would need proper tutorial. I am wondering if its possible to create a Ubot for everyone use?

Not sure henry whether ubot is possible or the right tool. im not very familiar with it.

At the moment you can do a lot of damage with the script if you dont know what your doing. So lets see who else is interested and i can spend some time next week doing a tutorial.

Hey Martin, +1 from me too as I've been struggling to get this script for PoF Day Parting.

Thank you so much in advance!

Cheers,
Wyatt

Was there enough interest to warrant a tutorial or affexpert tool?

Yeah, actually I was thinking FB too, just realized this may have been for PoF. I'd be fully interested in a FB solution.,

LOL, I missed it, thanks for posting it! Have you done something like this with FB before?

Anyone here tried the pof day parter script posted by tjin?

Aha! After some sleep I realised my error in setting up this script:
If you're on Hostagator on a shared account get rid of the wget (this is for downloading stuff anyway so not sure that that's about) and use

php /home/your_account_name/public_html/your_directory_if_any/process.php >/dev/null 2>>/home/your_account_name/public_html/your_directory_if_any/cron_error_log.txt
I created an extra cron_error_log.txt file for myself to send errors to. Replace your_account_name with the name of your Hostgator account and your_directory_if_any if you want this script to run from a subdirectory.

Thanks again tjin. This has been a game changer for me.
