Running fb lead gen for local businesses in the UAE - horrible quality

Hello!

Does anyone have experience running fb/insta ads in the UAE and struggling with lead quality?

Open for any suggestions

What makes the quality bad? Like Mickey mouse leads with fake info or rates of sales is very low?

Maybe your angle promises something that eventually isn’t realistic or a bit too vague?

Yup, would be helpful to hear more about how you collect the leads, what kind of funnel you are using, who do you target, what is the lead magnet you are using etc... Fundamentally, there is nothing wrong with FB or Insta traffic but in case you're not targeting the right people or you're misleading them in your funnel, the lead quality will be naturally low.

look, its usual situation about quality with leadgen form in fb.
low quality means peoples dont filled form (as they saying during call to them), they not have real interest in product-services, wrong numbers and so on..

there no solutions from such situations as we know here in asia - just send traffic to landing pages, thats all what i can advice to you

quick update: I don't have this client anymore but was wondering if there are any experienced fb advertiser on the forum that make uae traffic work.

Unfortunately as with the previous client the lead quality was quite bad for both, lead form ads as well as landing page funnels.
In this case the ad led to a survey and then a sales person followed up with a call.
The problem in the uae is that no matter what you do you have indians/pakistanis callin in asking for a job.

The performance slightly improved when I switched targetting to iOs users with relatively new iphones.

If this such a problem and you want to filter them out, then what I would do is create a website for Indians and Pakistanis looking for a job in UAE, by scraping 20-30000 job descriptions from other job boards (then you can charge companies for postings...). Then you put a Facebook pixel on your website, and you exclude all people visiting your site from your other campaigns. And if other marketers have the same problem, you can rent them your pixel.

This is assuming that you want to invest time in the UAE geo, of course.

I ran UAE lead gen in travel vertical back in days when I used to live in UAE. The issue is not just with the Fb forms, Mostly its about targeting the right people, For example not everyone In UAE is rich majority of the population is labourers who are living hand to mouth and sending all the money they can save back home.

P.S Over a million jobseekers from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh , Philippines visit UAE every month and as you described above they would just call anyone they can find to see if they have any jobs.
