It's mobile month here at STM and there has never been a better reason to jump in head first!
FIRST OFF
This contest is for all levels of affiliates! You win by running a mobile campaign, and showing your progress throughout the campaign.
Certain things will give you more points (mentioned below) but positive ROI will not give you any extra points. Thats because this contest has an overall goal which is to see a plethora of mobile information through 1st hand case studies (not just profitable campaigns) which in the end will be a learning process for the whole forum.

- Platform: Any mobile traffic source
- Offer: Anything you want!
- Post your follow alongs in the 'Mobile' Forum
- Only 2 follow-alongs per forum user are allowed.
>> What your follow along thread MUST have
- The goal of your campaign, outcome prediction..
- Your traffic source
- Country/Bid Prices/Budget etc…
- Are you tracking? if so how?
- At least 1 ad (screenshot)
- The offer itself (screenshot)
- Spend/Revenue
- Show impressions, clicks, and CTR (the more the better)
- Overall we take into account your effort, how transparent you are, your creative/craftiness and your response to feedback given in the threads.
Note 1: Please attach files to 3rd party image servers and upload add with the [img/img] tags. OR make sure you click the 'pencil' on the images you upload and make them full-size!
Note 2: MAKE SURE YOUR THREAD HAS EVERYTHING ABOVE! (or we will not be able to include it in the contest)

Note1: I should be able to reserve 2 iPad 3's the day they release in Canada. You'll have them first!
Note2: Will take approx 1 week for proper judging. May have to substitute cash (of equal value) for some prizes depending on country/situation.
Tips for mobile campaigns!
- Their are many traffic sources for mobile, don't always follow the herd!
- Landing pages will almost always do better. I HIGHLY suggest testing a landing page and not direct linking.
- Non WAP formatted offers DO work with mobile sometimes! Don't make assumptions
- Make mobile landing pages small and concise
- Optimize your landing page graphics (smallest file size possible!!)
- Use a cdn if possible (contest distribution network -- for international)
- Their are a lot of tablets with wifi and 3g, don't forget those 
- Their is a LOT more APP traffic then WAP
- Always track wifi separately from your APP/WAP traffic (it's a whole separate beast)
- Try a mix of very different ads so you can know what performs best, then make more ads around the winning concept
- Make your ads small in filesize! You need them to load fast
Anyone who is just getting into mobile and planning to come on the webinar should really get into this. If you start your campaign now, you can have a bundle of questions to ask on the webinar. PLUS you can win some fricking sick prizes while you're at it.

^^Yep, you can use any form of monetization. It's just the traffic has to be mobile.

total mobile noob here so I guess it's about time to lunch my first mobile campaign! Contest looks pretty sick 
I've never ever done anything with mobile before except one campaign that I forgot I started and ran through my entire $100 JT balance without a single conversion.
I'm totally going to use this as my excuse to try again!

Great prizes, you guys really went balls to the wall for this competition.
I was considering making it only iPads, and Walmart/Bestbuy giftcards.. but we're classier then that.
Walmart/Bestbuy cards are probably useless if someone from Europe wins a price ;-)
