I'm considering building a mobile optimized site with its own domain with WPTouch Pro and rotate in various offers.
Good or bad idea?
Best traffic source? Admob, Jumptap, Burstly?
The first stumbling block is to get an ad approved it seems...

Getting ads approved is quite easy compared to traffic sources. You'll want to get familiar with the ad creation process though
You can sure rotate offers if you want, but i would suggest landing pages. The offers themselves don't usually SELL themselves, you need to put in a little leg work.
Guess I was unclear. I meant building LPs with Wptouch pro, since it has a built in detection of device type. I'm not a code monkey and the thought of building LPs for all devices etc is not very attractive. The problem with WPTouch is that one domain has to be enough, so one LP/offer is out.
