I've been using both Anstrex and Adplexity (for Native2Search) like a noob.
If I would need to choose (even without knowing the price, STM discount included) my intuitive choice would have been Anstrex.
Yet, Adplexity is much more popular and appraised. So, it's most likely my narrow noob understanding.
This is where the insights and opinions of the respected and senior STMers can help beginners like me and others here.
What I like about Anstrex is mainly:
1. A filter for search arb.
2. A filter of text in the url chain.
What do you think is good and what is missing in each of them? (Maybe their VP Product are reading this...)
I use both and anstrex is way better for both push and native.
Anstrex has more number of ads, traffic sources, affiliate network filter.
Also their interface is better.
I have been using both for push.
For Anstrex I find it quite a pain getting landers. Adplexity is way better in that regard.
When it comes to search Anstrex delivers more results in most of my cases. Also their translation feature works better than that of Adplexity.
What I like about Adplexity is that once I have found what I was looking for it is then quite easy to find similar ads. Same can probably be done with Anstrex but I find Adplexity more intuitive here.
Adplexity is totally unorganized compared to others out there. You select one geo and still get results for 5 others. Canceling the subscription is also a major pain in the ass. They will ask you for a reason, then offer to switch to another platform and so on. It really anything but user friendly or helpful.
Haven't tried Anstrex but seems to be a clear winner of Adplexity..
Nah. Adplexity much better than Anstrex :P
To be honest, they both kinda suck for Native. Adplexity slightly better but way too expensive for what it doesn’t do.
Not sure what magic Taboola and Outbrain (to a lesser extent) are doing, but you’ll rarely if ever find anything from those networks on spytools.
If you’re looking for for revcontent and below, game on. But adplexity still better as it will keep an archive of the landers for you to download. Anstrex, like it’s push tool, is a pain in the ass to get to the lander 70% of the time.
That being said, I have not cancelled my subscription to adplexity simply because I’m lazy and hate the back and forth with support. But when I need it, I neeeeed it.
Also recommend adspy for FB as there’s a ton of good shit to grab there for Native even with a free account.
I have tried several spytools but always returned back to adplexity... somehow I always found better stuff with them.
But let me add I'm mostly focusing on the adult part of the internet so it might not be the same in case of native traffic.
