PSA: Maximus are scamming accounts

Maximus and his team are scamming accounts.

Multiple people know who these guys are, they used to have a reputation in the industry.

They fed stories for weeks on end to sandbag, forgetting the last story they told us which completely contradicted the new story, then went awol when we started to ask questions. Then when we reeled them back they committed to a refund, smoke bombed the date and have now, again, gone awol.

Multiple people from the industry have now witnessed this, have attempted to make contact with them however they're ghosting everyone now.

Backstory...

After they were paid they basically went MIA for days on end and would blow in with a BS story about where they had been and what the status was. Again these guys had a rep so we gave them the benefit of the doubt.

However cards would go days and days with no warmup spend, they'd all be unavailable for 1,2,3 days at a time, there would be a story about how there was a problem, then b problem, then c problem. Then apparently every member of his family got sick over 4 consecutive weeks each with a different set of ailments.

Cool story.

Then the stories just started to not make sense. We were then told to just deal with it despite them being 3 weeks overdue and with no guarantee on a supply date or a timeline. A very reasonable position to put your customer in when the initial pitch was 7 days time to delivery.

So we ask for a refund given there is no guarantee on supply and we're 4 weeks overdue on delivery. Then we were told they don't do refunds (blows my mind a bit) but if we dont get x by Friday we'll refund you. Ok, so we give them until Friday.

And of course come Friday... the phone goes dead.

Being in this game requires a good solid command of the narcissist scammer radar. Sure there's always risk but these guys once upon a time did have a rep, we felt there was a bit of a hedge there, however after all of this I did some poking around and others are seeing similar issues at the moment.

When the scam radar started to go off we started to ask them some very reasonable questions and were met with a bit of panic. Then they hit back hard when we applied a bit of heat and attempted to tell us we were "crazy", were apparently talking to them terribly, that they would "refund us" but then wanted "nothing to do with us". Textbook.

This was all very interesting given it was us that was left holding the bag of shit.

Anyway net net they took our money and ran. They're doing it to others too.

There is an entire chat stream that's irrefutable to support these claims. And group chats from others who attempted to get them to repay funds (networks, referral partners, brokers, infra people). They were given ample time and warning to respond.

Do not purchase Maximus accounts.

Admin/current customers this can be proven beyond reasonable doubt, DM for verification.

Ouch that's not nice

You're right, these guys did have a solid reputation, I've run into their "name" plenty of times when discussing accounts and similar.

Looks like another one bites the dust I'm afraid.

So far 6 people have approached me with a similar story. Please speak up if you've been scammed by this guy.
