Hey everyone,
I recently bought a misspelled domain name for a fairly large webcam/ escort site in the UK.
My site currently gets around 600 clicks per month, from people just mistyping the name.
My question is - what's the best way to monetise this?
The main site does have an affiliate program - so I could just redirect to that? Although this maybe a bit a risky if they find out?
should I just lead through to a random webcam site affiliate program?
Or is more profitable to go down the search arbitrage route?
PS. I don't think the name is copyrighted. It just two random words. Plus the site is pretty shady, so doubt they'd ever try taking my site down etc.
PPS. if anyone wants to be buy. Place your offer below (possibly may sell for the right price)
redirecting to their affiliate program could be against their TOS and you would put your earnings at risk.
You can try to hide the referer, or make a more deep funnel
600 clicks per month is quite low in adult. If you can't go with the website affiliate program, you can try the smartlink of Los Pollos. Probably around 10-20 usd per month.
Yeah 600 clicks isn't much but I would send it to the original website it's the typo from. Most adult affiliate programs won't have a problem with it. Chaturbate is pretty lax on it, Cam4 and some others that come to my mind. Actually never had any issues with adult programs. Found them more lenient than traditional cpa networks when it came to such things.
If you run cams, certainly choose revshare. You only need 1 whale out of 600 clicks to make a decent amount of money, where PPL might seem like a quick buck but it's not how you should run cams in general - unless you run a specific campaign - but in general always choose revshare for cams! Slow money but recurring is the best money there is.
thanks everyone for the tips.
