How to set up proper tracking with Taboola and Voluum

Hi All,

I've been trying to connect my taboola acc to my Voluum account for tracking, but i cant seem to find a guide on this.

i've also realized that taboola uses a pixel instead of a postback URL? can someone explain to me what the difference is? and how to properly track?

You need to create a new conversion in Taboola. Then the name of the Taboola conversion can be placed in Voluum as a postback url. https://doc.Voluum.com/en/taboola_traffic_source.html

FYI, Taboola sends A LOT of compliance clicks. And I do mean A LOT.

If you do not filter for it, it will drive you crazy with the click discrepancy in Taboola versus Voluum AND it will distort your data in Voluum. Voluum will show many more clicks than Taboola.

A friend speculated that it is Taboola sending out bots to check the lander to see if the lander is acceptable for a site prior to running it.
