My top list of conferences “must attend” for affiliates in dating industry:
AWE, TES, AWA, MWC.
I’ve also attended Dmexco several times, but it’s more about mainstream and non dating niches. Anyway the conference is great in general, full of promising innovations and interesting ideas to think about!
Clickbid in Tulum is awesome, not so many people there, but a great speednetworking and many verticals like dating, finance, insurance, nutra etc. And you’re so relaxed and inspired after Tulum hehe.

And what about you?

AWE and AWA for sure

I also attend TES in Prague from time to time, it's an ADULT conference almost exclusively so it's a good match for me since I do dating.

And that's about it for me.

So what are the most productive conferences on the dating vertical, for affiliate to visit? And what are the approximate costs for them?

Dating is EVERYWHERE It's one of the evergreen verticals that pretty much every network has on offer. So whatever conference you attend, there will be plenty of networks that have such offers and there will also be affiliate who promote those.

AWE and AWA have quickly climbed to the top, no solid network misses these ones... if they don't have a booth directly, they at least send the reps to walk the venue and talk to people.

I've mentioned TES above, that would be a good choice in case you are into strictly adult dating, since it's one of the few good adult-only (almost) conferences out there.

As for the cost... depends where you are from and how long you want to stay.

Airplane ticket, hotel, food... extra expenses on drinks etc. Then there are the tickets, some conferences are more expensive than others. Many people love to mix business with pleasure and they stay for several days after the conference, which obviously increases the cost. Some fly in in the morning of the starting day and leave in the evening right after it ends... it's really hard to calculate the costs without more info... where from, for how long, what conference

for me it was Affiliate Summit now it's Affiliate World. AS has changed a lot almost more professional, where as AW is what AS use to be a HUGE meetup of media buyers that enjoy life and money!

MAC is also a great conference.

That´s what conferences are for me.

I am not interested in any speeches at all, for me it´s all about networking, meeting people in person and having a good time

Exactly, you can also learn or watch speeches at home but nothing can replace a real meeting.

we should have an unofficial STM mini drunk meetup at one of a local tapas bar? maybe for anyone staying longer in spain... Ill be staying for 2 weeks in spain.

I'm leaving right the next morning after the conf, but will be there a few days before it starts, maybe we can fit something in... let's see what everyone's schedule looks like. It's gonna be pretty busy for me this time around.

Myself, @matuloo and @twinaxe will be pretty busy during the days leading up to the conference. But yeah please feel free to organize something unofficial! If we finish our work earlier than expected maybe we can come out for a drink!

I was in Barcelona in 2011 to visit some friends and there I also wanted to check some local tapas.

A friend visited some tapa bars with us and it was really nice and I absolutely enjoyed to have a few snacks here and there from all kind of different food

Tapas are great, its the best way to try lots of things Last time I was in Barca for AWE, we went to one of those tapas restaurants with @goshev and ordered half of the menu We should do it again this year!
