parental control sites list

Good morning,

We do display advertising and some partners are very restrict about the placements (specially the ones from the uk).

There are many parental control software providers, but we need it as download list, and cant find it.
Does anyone know where we can get a good list?

Thanks!

Hm, there are soo many, plus many mobile apps... I doubt there will be some "complete" list out there.

You can find plenty of lists and top10 reviews like this: https://www.tomsguide.com/us/best-pa...view-2258.html or this: https://techjury.net/best/parental-c...software/#gref or this: https://www.safewise.com/resources/p...-buyers-guide/

... but none of these is "complete" by any means.

Then there are initiatives that call for self labeling of websites with inappropriate content (adult/porn...) such as: https://www.rtalabel.org/ ... but not sure how widely that is used these days.

What are you actually trying to achieve here? I don't understand how child protection software installed on phones or computers would actually be related to where you display the Ads for your clients. They can decide where their ads are shown to some extent, I understand that, but there is pretty much no control possible over who get's to see the Ads. Or am I missing something here?

Thanks Matuloo.

Some site categories are more used by children. Some partners ask us not to advertise on them. Ex: games & movie sites.

Checked your attachments but couldnt find a list to download, and match with our advertiser inventory.

Thanks anyway

Ah ok, so you want to make sure that the Ads are not shown on sites tailored to children and plan to exclude these from your campaigns... I don't think you can ever find a "complete" list of such web properties or apps. New ones emerge daily, some sites have content for both adults and kids... it's not really possible to handle this with 100% accuracy.

Maybe I'm not getting your goals right, but there are literally millions of websites and apps out there, getting a list of all that are for kids is pretty much impossible. I've seen some initiatives that are collecting lists of sites so that advertisers can exclude these from their campaigns... for example major sites spreading fake news... but "sites for kids" are too broad of a niche.

Are you buying the traffic from a specific source? There are always some targeting options based on interests so use that. If you can get placement data from the source, analyze it and block those that are for kids.
