Last year, Taboola wanted to buy Outbrain but it did not happen in the end... maybe they went after a smaller competitor and acquired RevContent? I wouldn't be surprised.

I wouldn't be surprised.

It was good that Taboola didn't buy Outbrain, because they would have almost a worldwide monopoly on native.

And that could give him more power over advertisers, more rules, more restrictions, maybe more bans, etc.

Just what's happening with Google ADS and Facebook ADS ...

On Taboola and Outbrain now they stress me out if I write stuff like: The offer expires on ...

Or if you do storytelling you have to put the discaimer like: "This page is based on fiction ... etc."

They don't understand that without certain techniques the ROI goes away for an affiliate marketer...
