Hi
First, we are an established company with a reputable product, in house support and our own U.S. based dev team. For 25+ years we have sold Channergy to companies that sell on the web, marketplaces, retail and by phone. Recently we broke the product up into modules starting with Inventory. It's an underserved market with a real need.
We are launching ChannergySE Inventory on JVZoo, WarriorPlus and Clickbank. We've attracted about 100 reputable looking affiliates, but have not been able to attract any truly big players out there, with a couple of exceptions. More modules are to be released (Orders, Customers, Channels) over the following weeks and we are developing new software to sell as well.
So my question is, how do we attract those big sellers? We are advertising on MunchEye and other places and have contacted via email, but we want to get more traction.
All help is greatly appreciate.
Ok, so let's set one thing clear, who are the big players you are after? I'm not really familiar with the places where sellers would look for inventory related advice... are these some specific portals, websites, blogs, directories etc?
I bet many of them are running Ads, most probably through Google Ads... that's one way to get their traffic, they don't have to become your affiliates.
Getting these players to become your affiliates won't be that easy, it's always hard to persuade these people to try and run a new offer or product, since most of them already have some business relationships in place and it's extra work to add something new to the mix.
But there are some ways you can try.
I used to run websites and I was receiving similar request very often and I would ignore most of them. I only replied to those who came to me with a specific offer. The ones who took the time to actually analyze my websites and asses the traffic levels and made an offer based on that got my attention. Even when we ended up agreeing on a lower sum, the initial offer got me interested and willing to talk. Try this approach too.
Are there any events where these people hang out? Maybe some industry specific conferences, gatherings, fairs... attend and try to talk to them.
Another tactic would be to work with discount portals. Make a discount code and offer it to some large portal... you can bet that the other portals are following what coupons they run and some of them will reach out to you in order to get it too, if it looks interesting.
Bloggers, review sites... apply the same as above.
Ecommerce agencies and e-shop developers might be good clients too! As long as your tool is great, they should be willing to recommend it to their clients, especially if they can get a commission.

I'm sure we could put more ideas together if you show me some of the websites you would like to promote your products.
Thank you, that's excellent advice. The product we are promoting right now is ChannergySE and specifically the Inventory module but we will be following that up with Customers (e.g., CRM), Orders (entry and import) and Channels (connectivity to Amazon, ebay,
I look forward to more of your wisdom.

Thanks, we've been doing this 25 year so we know our market. Anyone who sells on Amazon, ebay, webstores etc. and retail and phone needs inventory and the other items we are offering. There are rags that they read (e.g., Internet Retailer) and keywords like Amazon and ebay draw a lot too.
