Watch me sink or swim! (4)

Hi @waynedouglas78 thanks for starting a follow-along!

This is for pop traffic?

Landing page is looking good! Suggestion: Make versions that contain less text and split-text. Pop traffic is interruption traffic - most people would be too frustrated and impatient to read a lot of text. Sometimes less can be more.

Have fun testing!

Absolutely! Sorry, I wasn't very clear... the "finished" lander will look quite different. I was just playing around with passing url tokens into javascript variables and got that to work.

The naked url will show {model} and {ip} instead of the corresponding subid values('android' and whatever ip i typed in).

I'm new to this vertical, but I agree, all that text seems a bit much!

And to answer your question, yes, it's for pop traffic.

The offer is from clickdealer and I'll be using popads.net.

Thank you for your helpful suggestions!

Lander looks nice so far, curious to see how it goes.

Also don´t forget to splittest the LP with JS alert and without JS alert.

Good idea. I've come up with a rather quirky idea that involves a prelander.

So now combined, I have a flow that looks like this:

Prelander(alert/danger/your device is at risk)
---> user clicks "get me outta here!" cta button
--->Lander(we have detected that your device has recently visited a suspicious website, you must upgrade security blah blah) ---> cta button
---> offer link

So the scope here has changed a bit. The prelander is pretty convincing, I think anyways.

I'm not entirely sure of what I'm doing here, or if this is something that even works well with pop traffic.

Still messing with different variations of the landing pages and I still want to test versions without the prelander, so I will have a 2nd path in the flow which excludes it. Should be done with all that by Monday hopefully(it's a full house).

Then I'll simply update the campaigns I've already created for each geo.

Getting closer to go time...
