gt vs fluent what a shit show honestly, not impressed (16)
So fluents been hitting me up and trying to get me to run since asw. My man tim over there has been a good friend in teh biz since the azoogle days. So I told them what i needed and it took them about a week to set it up, why so long I dunno stupid tech people, it was simple. I was also asking how much I was getting per a lead and they gave me a run around, how am I supposed to configure stuff that took me 5 mins to find out with justin and gt that takes all day with fluent. Apparently the 3 owners are gone today but yet nobody can get a hold of them, I don't want to do business with a company like that but cause of my man tim I still gave them a try.
Here is the results of today. GT vs Fluent, the same traffic, I ran fluent for 3 hours.

Now fluent keeps telling me that they need time to optimize, 3 hours isn't enough? seriously?
I have to say tho my boy tim puts up with alot of shit I'm not an easy affiliate, I expect alot he's been a trooper but if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have even tried fluent.

My stats are the complete opposite, and I have a Fluent tech guy and my account manager on AIM, email and phone within 30 seconds if I ever need anything. That being said, I think their tech team has been backlogged the past week. I think they are working doubletime on optimizing the Verizon subflows and keeping the big pubs from jumping ship.
My RPUs are only down 10% since VZW pulling out, impressive considering they made up 30% of my overall traffic.
I'd love to hear from someone who is doing volume on fluent and is beating rpus from GT and SP.
How was your findings mr green?

GT is good
GT is hands down the best for me. I've split tested them all numerous times and GT always come on top big time.

I've had fairly limited success with GT, silverpath has been really good, But question to those running on GT, My AM told me i can't use the word "free" anywhere on my prepages or my midpath, which is what makes me feel why my RPUs are lower with GT.
How aggressive are you guys getting on your adcopy/creatives/landers as far as wording? Any getting away with "free" on GT?
GT had some pretty good RPUs a week or two back, but now they are just utter garbage and the lowest I've ever seen them.. its honestly a joke. Anyone experiencing super low RPUs? I mean I was seeing .80-.90 RPUs on several different camps but now they are just so low (.30-.40).

my RPUs have been very steady... $1.38 - $1.69
My RPUs are steady at around .60.
I opened up a split test after seeing this thread. Fluent, which I've run for about a year, is outperforming by about 10%. BUT, GT's pass-through is remarkably higher and my backend rev is pretty damn high with GT, which I like. Sent approx 50,000 uniques to each. Not giving up on GT just yet.
Also with the people getting low rpu how much of your traffic is Verizon?
remember that fluent and gt count rpu's make sure you ask if its on unique or gross visits.
