Hey folks!
I am new here, so go easy on me LOL
Anyway, I have a personal TT account that I have been promoting a few eCom affiliate products with over the past few months.
The account has about $10k spend on it, and I seem to be doing ok in terms of ad approvals, and getting ads to spend with the complete payment objective right off the bat now that the account has some spend/data on it.
That said, I tried to scale a product that was doing amazing on lower spends a few months ago, and as I scaled up, the whole thing fell apart. CPA's went up and I lost interest.
But I am back at the same product again. Testing 5 new videos at $20/day each and right away have already made a couple sales (today is day 1)... so I know this converts.
However, despite my success, I am seeing some HORRIBLE CPM's and CPC's... even though I have some pretty solid CTR's. Thoughts?

The super high prices make me nervous to start pushing budget. Do you think I need to let it ride for a day or two for prices to come down? Do I need an agency account?
Thanks in advance!
P.S. I'm not sure how best to post the image above, hopefully it looks ok.
Congrats on the initial success! Have you tried using cost cap to rein in the CPM/CPC? Doing so may limit the scaling potential later on, but would be worth a try at your current budget.

Amy - thanks for getting back to me.
No, I have never used CC. I think I will give it a try.
I feel like there is something "wrong" though. My CPC's this time around are in the $2.50 range, and before they were like $.75. And double or triple CPM's.
I am using a few videos provided by the network for the product. This time around, after reading here about being penalized for running videos that have run before, I added TT music to the top of the original video hoping that would make it unique enough.
Could that be the issue?
I think that's it... I made some totally original videos last night, going to run them now and see how it goes.
Thank you!
It can also make a difference what conversion goal (form submit, place an order, complete payment etc) you set.
Interesting - ok.
I know I had to use ATC to get the account to spend... but after several sales, I have just defaulted to complete payment.
If you have good control over the whole funnel I would start with goals that are easier to achieve like form submit or complete registration.
That way you can reach the goals faster and feed the pixel with more conversion data.
A click on a button or a form submit are way faster to achieve than finishing a sale.
When the pixel has some data to work with increase the goals.
But usually it´s the more complicated the goal the higher the CPC and the lower the CR.
When you warm the pixel up already it can help to decrease the costs for the more complicated goals.
OK - how many conversions, of any type, are you looking for before advancing to the next step?
